Theres a difference, the F22 has such a painfully obsessed fan base in my experience

another aging airframe whose hi-tech nature doesnt age as poorly as stealth. low detectability aircraft don’t stay hard to spot forever. a multirole that can turn just as hard has the pleasure of not having that concern

same for the F-18, i once saw sombody claim that the F-18 is able to win against the delta canards in raw flight performance

Get where im coming from? , like I said above the maps are tiny, so the stealth isnt really gonna matter, same as the newer amraams Asraams etc etc , so how many folks will sht the bed that the F22 can be actually locked onto to xD

also some folks just dont understand howplanes work it seems

F-22 is now finally being upgraded anyways

not even with radar, almost everyone will have a really good IRST and really good IR missiles, which can also be used for long ranges

i said the technology used for the EF2000 wont age as poorly as a stealth oriented platform.

and for the sake of WT, your stealth doesn’t matter when you’re only 30km away, you’re eating an IRIS-T no matter that close

AN/AAR-56 and spectral flares should help against this. It also helps that F-22 big ass AESA should have pretty amazing ECCM abilities

The only technological things that are aging poorly on the F-22 are lack of HMD (recently fixed, being distributed to others) and lack of IRST (part of F-22 upgrades, seen testing a while back and may even be in service/production)
