It would really have to be an event vehicle(s) for the US, not something that is permanently part of the tree.
For the SK105, the German tree has the Argentine version (because Argentina is confirmed as a future subtree for Germany) and French tree has an Austrian version (because Gaijin was too lazy to just make the AMX-13-105, the vehicle whose turret the SK105 uses, for some reason)
That’s why of the many 90mm Cascavel variants (M2-M7) I’d say the Libyan M3 would be best for the US, so no variant actually used by Brazil would be excluded from a potential future tree
And besides, there’s the LAV-150 and LAV-300 for the US, or just finally a tech tree M8 for the 37mm
Well an Indian T-90A went to Britain out of all nations so a Brazilian M8 wouldn’t be a stretch as an American squad vehicle.

Sure it’s nice to have but the US already has enough HEAT lights at that BR though so it’s not really needed while finally having an accessible M8 would be more important to the tech tree.
How is Britain connected to an Indian T-90A or Germany to a Swiss Hunter?
squadron vehicles aren’t 1.0 lol
The Firecrest is a squadron plane and sits at 2.3BR. This at 1.3 or 1.7 would be no different. Having low tier squadron vehicles would stop some people from unlocking top tier squad tanks at level 10 too.
Not to mention it’s not an M8, it’s an EE-9
It’s an improved M8 and this version features the M3 turret. The M51 and Firefly are still Shermans even though they are upgraded. The Turkish M60 consists of american made tech so it got into the US tech tree even though it’s not used by America.
India was a British domain, Switzerland is a Germanic nation, though those are generally regarded as terrible squadron vehicle additions
And it’s an aircraft. The lowest BR squadron ground vehicle is the M901 at 8.3. Even among aircraft, the Firecrest is an exception with the next lowest BR being 7.3.
And neither are in the American tree, but instead in the trees of the nations that operated them. Even before Israel was added, the US didn’t get the M51.
It was designed and built by the US, and is a (rather old) event vehicle, not squadron.
When did India gain independence? When did India acquire T-90s?

So what’s the problem with the M8 knockoff being an outlier for ground vehicles?

It doesn’t matter what kind of vehicle it is.
As long as there is no SA tech tree the EE-9 should go to the US.
