Its pretty solid but man i cant get the velocity down. I love the 23mm guns from the btr zd and bosvark but i cant get the 20mm down from the r3 or the 204GK. Its pretty solid but 5.3 is a bit weird for it. Honestly its pretty squish, i dont seem to live any strafes if they slightly graze me with gunfire though when they dont see me its pretty solid. I end up just using it as a TD since its better at that then planes imo. Same with my r3T20 tbf.
TBF i personally like the USH 204GK but its not a 6.0+ worthy chasis. Now the finnish spaa could actually help a lot but itd probably be around 5.3 also. I am totally biased since it has the 23mm guns but i dont care its beautiful.
It’s one of those guns with huge velocity.
Usually the rule of thumb is to lead slightly more than what you’d think is right, but with these it’s leading slightly less.
Surprising that you have troubles with these but not with the 23mms. They work fairly similarly in my experiencd.
Idk what it is but dude the 23mm slaps its my favorite 5.x spaa and TD gun its nutty and i love it. The R3 T20 gun idk, i just cant get the hand of the velocity i have more kills in my r3 than my btr zd but i still cant get it. Definitely a skill issue on my end.
Its guns Rps eats through its magazine, like another vehicle i know, the Lvkv 42. So we got another vehicle with the same trade sets.
Muzzle velocity is very hard to get adjusted to once you have learnt the velocity of the 40mm Lvakan 36 & Lvakan 48. So you basically have to re-learn velocity.
This would have been avoided with the Luftvärnskanonvagn model 43 (Lvkv m/43) or the Tridon.
Even a Finnish line SPAA with the Lahti L-39 anti-tank rifle Turned AA gun & soviet 23mm Autocannons, on truck chassies would be fun, and better suited than a armoured Recon car. That gaijin slapped “SPAA” on, we all know few are using the R3 T20 or U-SH 204 are playing them as SPAAs, they are flanking them.
