Scharnhorst, however, is another exceptionally majestic ship and may take the cake if i’m putting aside my love for Royal Navy designs.

ooooh they do look pretty
its a pity La Galissonniere is modelled in game with all her cranes fully erected, kinda makes her look like something in service with Allseas rather than the French navy

Submarine wise, I really like the look of the British cold war nuclear subs. There is just something about the big Type 2001/2020 Sonar Arrays

Quadruple guns housed in big turret hulls.
Good looking superstructure.
Angled funnel compex. Overall very pretty.

I hadn’t considered it but the Type 45’s are imho the best looking modern warships and there is no competition for me other than perhaps the Zumwalt class which IMO lacks depth on a purely aesthetic basis.
