I’ve seen people talking about MULTIPATHING and I was just wondering what that actually means as I don’t have access to the dev server.

Wikipedia has a nice picture that illustrates the effect:
In this case we’re more concerned about the reflection with the ground (the green here). The radar on the left illuminates the target, but the reflection can take multiple paths, making it seem that the target appears lower than it actually is (the “ghosts”). In game this means that if your target flies low to the ground, radar return of the target will missalign with the actual target, causing missiles to steer underneath the target and thus missing.
