Leopard 2 is a beautiful vehicle, M1 KVT is ugly as hell

There’s no comparison between the two. M1 is M1, and Leopard 2 is Leopard 2. These two bundles are specifically given for researching different nations. To research both the American and German tech trees, you’ll need both bundles.
If pushed, I’d suggest the Leopard 2A4. The M1 Abrams has a significant weakness in its frontal profile, with its steering gear welds being particularly susceptible to low-penetration AP rounds. Additionally, the American M774 shell performs markedly worse than the German DM23. As a result, the M1 KVT is a much less satisfying tank to play compared to the Leopard 2A4

Leopard is better at basically everything except reload speed.
The M1 is American and the Leopard is German.
Mobility? M1 Abrams.
Armour? M1 Abrams.
Gun handling? Tied.

M1 Abrams has better crew layout thanks to the driver not being in-line with the gunner and commander like on the Leopard 2A4.
Leopard 2A4 also usually has exposed hull ammunition, M1 does not.
Firepower? Tied.

M1 has 20% faster reload speed for only 11% worse penetration. The M1 also comes with 50. cals instead of just 7.62’s.
