Its not about realism its more if its worth adding what does it gain-? Since the current BR of the Ikv 91 of 8.0 the 400mm of pen is more than enough,

Never heard it had that. That’s sounds like an unrealistic amount for a 90mm gun. You got a source on it?

Iirc there was a doc for it having 557mm pen but yeah 400 is fine
I’m guessing they are talking about a HEAT-FS found on the Pansarvärnspjäs 1110, a 90mm recoiless that uses same/similiar shells but pretty sure they’d have to be modified to work in the ikv-91
The penetration capabilities seems to differ depending on source, some say 600mm while others is 800mm

Exactly, my mistake, it was the 600mm HEAT round. I confused it with one from a recoilless rifle. But anyway, it’s a 200mm difference compared to how it is in the game.
I also have the impression that many HEAT rounds in the game have artificially inflated penetration values, since it seems that depending on the caliber they have greater or lesser penetration, when, for example, a HEAT-FS round from the L7 gun wouldn’t have the same penetration in 1970 as it would in 1980.

we just need gaijin to implement indirect fire vehicles somehow. i propose a new vehicle type to go with L, M and H tank, tank destroyer and spaa
It seems like more penetration equals more damage when it comes to heat, so it would be nice for that, as well as giving it some more power to punch through spaces armor
