Not sure if we ever talked about it (bad memory) but do we have a decent 9.7 CAS alternative at the moment in the Swedish tree?
Only aim 9B and only two of them for air but it has the same CM system as the later WDNS F-35.
This would be quite fun, still a heavier J35F but with some internal upgrades for CAS as the pylons were reinforced alongside fuel.
Otherwise we could just go SK60F and SAAB 105XT

That is not the 105XT, that’s the Sk-60F. It could also mount CM in the inner most wing plyons like on the AJ-37. The XT is closer to the 105OE and 105G. Which the SAAB 105XT eventually became.

Yup I have the names mixed up whoops, still the XT does cover the extended weapon loadout, guess we have two Saabs to cover the 9.x bracket
Also since I know you’ve looked at some of the Finnish stuff do you know if the MK.51 hawk has CCIP and such? Could be another 9.x strike fighter
IF the B3LA was added, would it be a 9.7 vehicle or a 10.3 one, speaking from the fact that it could carry eight RB83 (or four AGM-65) AGMs.
Then also the fact that the B3LA (as well as the Viggen) was supposed to carry the RB72, a high-performing IR missile that featured IRCCM capabilities. Supposedly, the RB72 was seemingly better than the AIM-9L in performance.

Seemingly? We have docs that literally state it was. RB72 had 20 working models done of which after the program ended their seekers were used in the Mini Mavs. Tho I don’t believe a functional Mini Mavs was ever tested.

Judging by the overall size of the RB83, it would probably be somewhere of the performance of the AGM-114 missiles that the Apache has, unless there is some data about what explosive filling or type of engine it was supposed to use.
Probably, I’m sure someone on the swedish discord has it on one of the channels, we have a lot of info on the RB72, basically it’s entire flight performance and the seeker type

Ehh, idk, 9.X seems a bit low, maybe it would give us an 11.3 aircraft, God I wish the Cv90120 wasn’t so high, maybe it would have a fun lineup
same, it would’ve been awesome to have an actual 11.3 lineup
after the mobility nerf, 90120 doesn’t belong to 12.0, 11.3 is a perfect spot for it

After the mobility/weight nerf (that shouldn’t have happened as we have the Cv90120, not Cv90120T) there is no way on God’s green earth it should have stayed at 12.0, one of its only strong suits (mobility) got taken away, now it’s just a sniper at best, and good luck with that on the squished top tier maps
