Probably RN Vittorio Veneto, I just hope they will improve RoF and accuracy for main caliber of the class, at least once premium arrives.
This wouldn’t fix the fundamental issues Naval experiences and would only extrapolate it.
I don’t remotely understand the idea of ‘oh let’s just ignore current issues by just adding another layer on a cake already falling apart’.
If anything, adding cold war to modern era ships would add a dozen different issues - both balance and fundamental - to a section of the game that is already nearing its limits. Since the peak of the naval arms race (WW1 to WW2) has so many issues currently plaguing it, why should cold war to modern even be added? Serious question; wouldn’t it be better to iron out all the issues with the current systems than to add on new ones that will, without a shadow of a doubt, break it further?
The Mark I Eyeball is a useful tool. Have you unlocked it yet?
I said “a more grounded version of World of Warships” because nobody here wants any one nation to receive an overpowered battleship. I just want them to add the more reasonable designs that don’t seem too outrageous.
Thank you Sherlock, I am very aware of what happened to that warship.
That’s fine. They could make the incomplete one the tech tree version with more anti-aircraft guns, similar to what the IJN Shinano might have been, or simply follow the trend of late-war battleships, which generally had significantly more anti-aircraft weapons installed.
Impero can come in a form of V-1 carrier project 😆
Very funny.
Would you want a better Littorio added to the game? Honestly, you guys are frying my brain right now with the whole “but this might not be realistic” argument. Let’s not pretend War Thunder is the pinnacle of historical accuracy. Come on, because this is the same game with anime gooner vehicles and the Ho-Ri, which never actually existed.
Let’s not beat around the bush, that’s a decent take right there.
Clearly not if you’re calling it a paper ship.

These ships were never completed or converted into aircraft carriers, and Gaijin essentially based them on their designs and the historical sources available.
[/quote] did you even read this?
No because I only saw this initially:
Yes, because they had to use historical sources to complete those unfinished hulls, which ties into my point. I may have used the wrong word, but my point still stands, so you’re really just making an issue out of nothing here.
I’m not making assumptions, I am simply disagreeing with you that adding pure paper ships at this point would be helpful. Frankly Gaijin should have stopped adding new things and focused on fixing core gameplay issues quiet some time ago. Look at Yamato, the literal flagship of a major update and is unplayable garbage because of the flaws in the game mode (and inexcusably bad modeling) Yamato was designed to engage at 36km but you cannot even accurately range find in naval over 20kms, frequently spawn between 12 and 15kms of the enemy and frequently have to push in to with in 8 to 10km if you actually want to play the objectives. EC has it’s own issues, that I won’t start on.
I am not saying that paper ships should never be added, they would be far lest of an issue than modern ships would be, but if Gaijin doesn’t fix the mode then everything they are adding is a wasted effort and will die with the rest of the mode.
Really? I have never noticed that, I man need to start suiciding a coastal boat or something 1st spawn. kind of sucks losing a spawn, but it beats that auto breach repair nonsense.
You’re talking about a company that makes millions in profit every year, so they’re more than capable of fixing Naval while adding new ships at the same time.
I’m sorry to hear about your experiences and frustrations, but you shouldn’t underestimate Gaijin’s capabilities. Like I said before, they’re a multimillion-dollar company.

Can and will are separate issues, and they contract out the modeling so that’s not really an issue. The issue is the maps and game modes are not capable of supporting the ships they are adding, much like many ground maps are not up to handling modern MBT’s, CAS and SPAAs.
My point is that they should resolve that issue 1st, so that when a new player comes in they have a good time and stay, how long do you recon some one who thinks “I’ll try naval, that looks like fun” buys Nagato and gets game after game fighting Soyuz sticks around.
It’s not about the resources, it’s about retaining the new players that get baited in by the new ships, and I think we can at least agree that naval could use more players.
Anyway that’s just my opinion on it. I get people want different things from the game so we wont all agree on things.
They have a rule that the ship should be laid down at least and then they can apply whatever project to it.
This is turning into a completely different discussion, which I never brought up because that wasn’t my intention.
Naval is currently filled with so many bots that most players now go out of their way to avoid fighting each other. When you do find the occasional player who actually engages other players, people often get angry at them for doing so.
A new naval player will logically go for the weaker AI ships instead of the large, heavily armed ship in the corner that’s racking up a lot of kills. However, this is a completely different issue for a different discussion.
New players won’t get clickbaited if they fix the game mode they’ll already have to put resources into, with or without new ships.
This is a completely different discussion for another time and takes away from my original point, which was: what will Italy’s premium battleship be, and what is the possibility of an interesting Spanish addition? That would also allow more anticipated battleships to be added to the tech tree rather than being locked behind a paywall. If they explained that in a post and made an exception for naval, a lot of people would understand.
Like I said before, this is a multi-million-dollar company that is more than capable of fixing everything in naval while adding more things at the same time. It shouldn’t be a case of, “I can’t comprehend that happening, so they’re only capable of doing one or the other.”
You’re defending rules that Gaijin doesn’t really care about, and we’ve seen this kind of rule bending happen time and time again.

@Cloudzy26160 I’m not going to continue with this discussion with you because it’s going nowhere and this isn’t the place for that. Bye
