What can save American top tier air?

AESA Typhoon?

Who said that ? Imagining word now ?

Keep dreaming. Historical or not us main will find a excuse to blame on

Oh my, a slightly faster radar scan! So OP! Nevermind the fact Gaijin refuses to give us proper Brimstones, forcing us to use laser guided munitions at a BR where we got shot down the second we spawn in.

Honestly speaking, I don’t believe F-22 would be game breaking or totally unbalanced. It would rather level the playing field considering there is a good chance they will not be adding modernized F-22 earlier

You got SPICE 250 that afaik hasn’t even been tested on EFT, US hasn’t even gotten GBU-53 that’s been in service for years.

Also, UK’s AESA EFT can track well into notch

Comparing export MiG-29 carrying R-27ERs to a US F-35 carrying Meteors is a massive false equivalency. Those export nations actually purchased and operated the R-27 family; giving them the ER variant is (from my understanding) just a technical “placeholder” for a type of the missile system they already had in their inventory. The US has zero stock of the Meteor and zero intention to buy it.

Using the USMC testing phase as justification is a reach. The US was acting as a service provider for the UK to help them integrate their own weapon, not certifying it for American magazines. If “testing for a client” is the new standard for the tech tree, then the US should realistically get every Israeli, Japanese, and European weapon ever flown at Pax River or Eglin, which is obviously a mess.

The Swiss Hornet having Sparrows, for example (there are others), is a specific balancing choice to keep a premium jet from being forced into a BR it can’t handle with AMRAAMs. But like I said before, the US eventually gets the F-22. If you’re going to have the most dominant air-superiority airframe ever built, begging for a European missile you never even purchased makes no sense in a literal or a balancing sense. We should be pushing to fix ahistorical loadouts like the German R-27ER or Brimstones once munitions are ready, not using those mistakes to justify turning the US into a fictional “what-if” faction.

Yeah sure, because the U.K. also operates the F-22.

In simple terms, this is just what it (UK) will have. No one’s (at least, I’m not) batting an eye at the U.S.’ AIM-260 or even pondering whether or not it comes to Europe’s F-35s ingame at all. There is literally no need because such nations don’t need it

They obviously had at least 1 at the base if they put it on the F-35

250kg bomb, wow, so amazing. Or is it 250 pounder? Whatever the case, it’s not good. When’s the last time any 250kg/lbs bomb was ever good? 2.0? Oh my, thank God we have an IR guided bomb, where I cannot go past Mach speed without the inability to drop it, and where I have to fly high and straight while getting fired at by Pantsirs to drop them! Too bad no other jet in the game has the ability to spam 15+ GNSS bombs while also using AGMs (American F-15), or having the ability to fire OP missiles that go way past Mach speed (Su-30s), or have larger SPICE bombs that actually do damage (Israeli F-16 and F-15, plus Swedish Grippen E). It is really sad that the best British plane for CAS is the Grippen and F-18. Like how can four AGMs be your best CAS?

Us didnt produce ramjet and went with 120d. Deal with it.

Same as russian dont have good tanks compare to nato in top tier, only way is to accept it and get better with it.

Coping hard

The Canadian and Australian F18s can be added to a Canadian and Australian tree.

Yes, go ahead and remove all vehicles from trees that didn’t use them.

If you’re going to jump into a conversation half way, the least you could do is read the replies for context.

Fun fact, the GB tree, though it lacks many vehicles of either nations (for one reason or another…) functions as such

Hope this helps!

The UK doesn’t need 4 sub trees. South Africa is its official sub tree.

Wont matter tbh. Us main will always complain about something

Every main complains. Everyone says their tree is getting screwed. It’s part of the fun.

I mean if we’re being fr the UK technically doesn’t have any sub trees xD

All the usual nations (India, Canada, Australia, South Africa, etc) has so far been gap fillers and there isn’t a dedicated sub tree line yet

£100 were getting a short Australia-India sub line at the high tiers (after F Super Hornet), tbh

That the problem. Other who has been suffering for years ( sweeden air exemple ) had a cause to complain.

While us main will still complain after getting a top tier plane each update for a year.

Aren’t 5th gen like F-35 supposed to release this year though?

January 2027 latest, trust

It’s historically accurate for the US to have a dominant Air Force.
