Anyways back on topic. The only thing needed to save US air is aim120 buffs. Sure it can buff other countries but that’s mostly irrelevant since most amraam carriers are other US airframes such as Israeli and Japanese models. The only outlier is the EF which to my knowledge is overpreforming? I could be wrong on that. If they gave it the bug reported seeker the aim120 would be a competitive missile. Reducing the drag according to the bug report wouldn’t make it all that competitive but would help amraam carriers play more to their strength. Iirc the thrust is too low and when you compare it to r77 and -1 fuel KG it should be impossible for those missiles to produce as much thrust or burn for as long as they do with that fuel weight.

Like I said with the fuel weight check the r77 thread for the fuel weight then you can do the math for thrust to burn time

Ignoring years worth of high quality first hand sourced bug reports so equipment stays artificially worse than it should be or adding stuff in highly dubious states to make things worse than they should be.

What do we think about the PoBIT? Personally i believe it would struggle due to only 6 missile that it could carry
it will, especially if its gimmick being the 120d is also going to be on a superhorrnet in a different tech tree
all though the F16 has better flight performance its not that much of a difference to compensate for over double the missiles
It will not be good if it’s placed at 14.3 or 14.7 unless Aim-120Ds are by far the best missile in the entire game. Even then, the hornets exist with a better loadout at 14.7.

Pretty much. It’s a 6 missile platform, this is not something that can work properly in 16v16
It will be decent for grb but I’m hoping they give some new CAS ability like GBU-53 which should of been added last update.
