F5 is kind of plane that if you dont want to die by it you just never be.
Uncultured, the USS enterprise is not naval. Being serious, probably 5th gen fighters like the F-35, even the B-2 would be nice as a modern bomber although hard to add cuz it’s so secret. More munitions would also help, there’s probably plenty of air to air and gbu’s that could be added

Could f15ex help in anyway or would it just be a glorified f15c ge?
I mean, having what could very well be meta defining missile confined to single aircraft is never good idea. Typhoon has better FM than Rafale but its not the Typhoon with AMRAAMs thats dominating the top tier leaderboards for the last year.
F-15EX with AIM-120D, BOLS, and EPAWSS with all its feature against current lineup of planes would contend for best plane in the game.(AIM-9X not even needed)
EPAWSS is datalinked to the plane map and can show the exact position of the radar threat on the map, which would be very interesting to have. AIM-120D with MICA level seeker(if not better) and a much larger non-escape-zone would be an absolute menace on a F-15E airframe.
Having played the F-15C GE quite a bit in sim during the event, it’s hard to realize just how much slower the F-15C is compared to the E until you jump again in the E. The E can cruise and fight at mach 1.6-1.8 easy while the F-15C struggles to stay at mach 1.5 during fights and will find itself more often than not at mach 1.2 or so.
Problem is that everybody’s going to get new missiles next patch apparently. So it’ll just be the same as before. Better airframes than the EX firing equivalent/better missiles.
EPAWSS might be good if gaijin implements it properly. Will gaijin do that though? Also does f15ex have maws i could not find any concreate info about that. As for aim 120d if not messed up will definitely be good however Eurofighter would still have it which has a better FM than f15, it would also have meteor. I still don’t understand how would it be any better than current planes in game. It would also have lower scan area then jets such as SU-30 SM2 and Eurofighter.
The F5c Is the second best 10.7 aircraft second only to the J-7D its insane and br for br one of the greatest planes in the game, I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who struggles to get kills in the f5c even with the later much higher br models.
Probably not. Pretty much only Russian vehicles get new gimmick features like that. EX might retroactively get it if a Russian plane has it in the future.
Certain export EX have it, US EX don’t. The MAWS emplacement is there on the airframe but empty. USAF judged, rightfully, that MAWS wasn’t necessary considering the EX is supposed to be a missile bus throwing a wall of missiles from far away with the help of stealthy F-35s providing datalink to said missiles. A premium ECM suite like EPAWSS is worth a lot more than an expensive MAWS in today’s world, especially in that role. To be frank, dogfights have been dead for decades, and it’s only getting worse as years go by. You’re not getting in range of a F-15EX to make MAWS matter before dying to a AIM-120D.
It would be better because of a mix of high missile capacity, AIM-120D, and fast airframe to dance around. Eurofighter with meteor would make the F-15EX with AIM-120D DOA though, for sure.

They messed up AIM 120C so i fully expect them to mess AIM-120D. I bet that it would be one of the worst missile added along with next gen missile unless they also nerf meteors by alot. Anyways i hope AIM-260 enters service as soon as possible

The F-5E at 11.0 has no way to defeat a MiG-21 SMT at 10.3 if the MiG-21 pilot knows what he’s doing. The F-5’s advantage only comes from the opponent’s lack of skill.
I kind of want them to add a fully-kitted F-22 just to watch US mains on the forums climb over each other to argue that it isnt that op and you just have to use 2 brain cells to avoid their missiles.
I’m not going to lie, the best player in the world would clown on you in an F-5 you are not him. But anyways the F-5 is easily able to kill everything at its own br? I mean literally only the J-7D opposes it but it has its own niche scenarios in which it can turn that fight in its favor quickly, not to mention the BIS is a piss poor example as it you know it basically an all around better fighter and is pretty much top dog at its br. That’d be like me telling you the BIS is trash and only gets kills on stupid players because its no match for my J-7E. Also I’m not one to do this but you are a walking contradiction you literally have twice the stats in your F5C than any of your migs so it can’t be that bad.

F-22 armed with the AIM-120C5 as it is in game right now wouldn’t even be that OP against the Rafale and Su-30SM2. It would have some advantages over them but MICA would still be crazy good and Su-30SM2 would still be able to guide and fully notch at the same time.
Hell, it would be more balanced than the F-15C GE and especially massively struggling F F-18E
