What am i doing wrong

oops - mea culpa - I’ll read it properly next time I promise!!

Kinda like how I enjoy the SMB2 despite it being supposedly a very mid jet, sometimes a mid plane that doesn’t have a deadly weakness is just great
The F3H is probably the 9.0 that gives me the most trouble in my 10.0 Mirage IIIC, it can somehow defend itself better than many others planes

Must be a good player or something

If you post a server replay we can take a look and tell you if you do any common mistakes that you can fix.

I have done a quick look at some of your replays. This is of course just a subset of your games, and they might have been experiments, so they might not be fully representative of your playstyle. But from what I have gathered it looks like you are not using all available advantages, or simply throwing away advantages. Let me explain.

Sometimes you go high (or to the side for a good while), and by that I mean 10km altitude. That in of itself is not necessarily always bad, but you are idling too long. What would be much better is going relatively high (4-7km), and then swooping down once the furball is started in order to shoot at separated, but distracted targets. If you stay idle for too long then people won’t be distracted by the time you show up.

Sometimes you don’t bring missiles (?). This might just be you experimenting, but I would heavily suggest you bring all 4 missiles, I personally prefer 3 AIM-9B and 1 AIM-7C. They are especially useful if you are flanking and taking enemies by surprise. By the time you are in gun range people are seldom surprised.

You have a radar, but you do not use anything above 19km. It may seem useless, but it actually is not. The radar can actually be quite good at finding bombers and SAAB-105 with airspawns at the start of the game (with the bombers being free kills).

You never turn off your radar. At your BR it does not matter much, since few planes have a RWR, but it can matter, especially when flanking, since it gives away your position. At the very least it is a good habit to learn for high tier.

The F3H has a good engine, plenty of missiles and a decent radar for its BR. You should use them all to their maximum potential. Fly high and dive down behind distracted enemies for easy kills. Kill bombers with your radar missiles when available. You have a good top speed, but not that good acceleration. This means you should avoid getting stuck in turnfights. If you miss all your shots and missiles and in a contested territory then it might be good to keep your speed to target someone else or climb to reengage with some new clueless target.

using the stat card the F3H-2 can out run it by give or take 50~60 mph given the Demon is Super sonic in a shallow dive even then using the stat cards at least not saying it would in a real game just on paper

About this i just think they are a pain in the ass sometimes like the radar lock Keybind for me only works half the time and i have it set to Ctrl+T and something like Shift+E to fire but i bring 2 AIM-7C’s mostly to get a bomber or someone running or going in a line other then that i use them poorly
