Thing is, this game USED to be hard, used to require skill, effort, tactics, team work.!

Nothing but a rapid trigger game the same as anything else.! Every update it gets more and more boring and skilless and ya know what - i really don’t think they give a darn! which is probably why a ton of people left the game in 2024, reviews are shockingly bad and player base consistently declining even today!

Stale Game Play being one of the major factors! and guess what - they are making it worse.!

I love the CF-188 and the Ram 1 is ok, the 2pdr sucks above 2.3 its actually one hell of a struggle even with the solid armour however this is maybe one my biggest highlights

The stupid ass P & H designations have driven me mad for years, even before i started playing war thunder because they are blatantly wrong. I appreciate that the preproduction turret now reflects the first 50 using the cast turret while the production is just Tiger ii.

New update kills the FPS for some reason. Maybe related to SSAO.

Also, for the love of the flying spaghetti monster, PLEASE FIX THE SPOTTING IN AIR BATTLES.
I have optics that can see 30km+ with thermals, but i cant “spot” the enemy planes 5km away in front of me.

Crybabies, yes complain about misisng tech and i accurate reloads on existing chinesr tanks but they say equal treatment when every nation shares export vehicled

The ship is still barely playable, hopefully one day devs remove RoF downgrade modifier from Italian ships and fix accuracy. Naval mode should have similar approach as ground regarding accuracy and RoF, with balancing in the mind, instead of blatant copy of paper values not even looking at the difference between measurements, nor theoretical or practical values and disregarding information provided by players in bug report section as it’s in case of RN Roma.

PS because of that we also still have different RoF for same 100 mm Minisini cannons/turrets on Italian and Soviet ships.

In case you missed it, Gaijin has quietly nerfed Silver Lion (SL) income by making some rewards harder to achieve in Realistic and Simulator battles.

The Heavy Metal Hero award requirement was raised from 6 → 10 kills, which is a huge jump in difficulty.
For reference:

  • Heavy Metal Fury → 1,000 SL
  • Heavy Metal Hero → 5,000 SL

The change is tucked away in the full release notes (not the summary):

Impact in practice:

  • Top reward will now be far rarer → effectively a 4k SL + multiplier loss
  • More frequent re-rolls of daily/special tasks → extra SL drain

Gaijin weakened the overpressure range of all HE ammunition, and now HE ammunition needs to accurately hit the weakness to trigger overpressure.

Nice update, lots of cool stuff. I like the bullet snap sounds. Map redesigns are cool but this Ash River change is pretty funny.

It looks the the mapper accidentally left their brush on at this spot in spawn. If you’re getting spawn camped this is one of the only fighting positions you had. Now you have to deal with this donut wormhole mess

I agree nearby cannons sound more distant than you expect.

BTW, B66 Artificial horizon and both engine rpm gauges are broken.

Is BM-Oplot-T meant to have 1860 stock HP? It seems like a lot for a small diesel engine.
