War Thunder: The Great War!

I love me the st. Chammond

to be honest it’s a trash tank that has desert camo on a forest map

the only good thing (after all these stats changes) is its gun which u can get a few shots off before being one shot by a A7V

Love it too, but it gave me 1 frage while the Garford a bit more

It’s not desert camo, it’s just a regular one. Early French tanks had some quite unusual camouflage. Even some pink ones in some instances

Not a surprise that this comment comes from you.

Garford is broken OP.
and German side Garford is even better than entente side one because they don’t face A7V but st-[one tap coffin]-chamond.

If you think Garford isn’t OP
it is your skill issue, pal.

As a joke with memes, Frenches are really concentrated on being charming and fashionable. XD

(I know those fancy uniforms with light colour didn’t matter much IRL thanks to they just get mudded very quickly, and trench hides burning red coloured legs)

Bro, we are like the rooster. We die, but we die in style. And in bright red colours if possible

I like our khaki-coloured uniform with Brodie helmet, which became an icon of the Entente.

But really. That rooster uniform is also cool and stylish.

What I like the most is the Mark, even more iconic, and I thought it would be the star of the mode but hell was i wrong …

It does that a lot when planes are moving slowly. You see it on the reserve planes like the gladiators, furys, and the J6B quite often. It’s quite annoying on the J6B because it flies so nicely with sim controls.

Mouse aim can’t cope with planes needing to be flown properly for them to be effective. It’s just not designed for it.

Both Mark IV/V are worst in this mode and want me to install BF1 back.

Well, At least ‘Traitor Mark IV’ is useful thanks to the new big gun
And being considerable backup if you hates to use garford sooo much.
:/

Geniue Mark V is basically useless in every aspect.
16g explosive can do no post-pen damage to A7V I think :(

Wasn’t Mark V designed to be compatible with being an APC/support vehicle (so called female tanks) while other tanks were designed without concern for transport roles?

I’m not too versed in WW1 tank development history so correct me if Im wrong.

Can you even pen the front of the A7 ? I tried a few times and got no results, after that i understood that it was time to play only the Chamond

Hmm not really. The difference between Males and Females is the armament; females had 4 MG while the male had 2 + 2 heavy guns.

They were designed to roll over the trenches and clear them with their side mounted armament. I don’t think APCs were a thing at this point. Tank were made to crush barbed wire, clear trenches and wait for the infantry to come and occupy the ground

Naaahh… I needed to flank them
With that ashamed beauty, which became a rubbish bin. :/

So I also stuck with Chamond only

If I need to flank with both Mark V and Garford to take A7V down
Why I need to give up the 76mm derp? :(

That’s what i thought …
Normally i’m a big fan of French tanks but my favorite from WW1 is clearly the Mark and i was so hyped to test them out when they announced the event … needless to say i played 2 or 3 times before remembering that’s it’s still a gaijin game …

You can destroy them from the front with Garfield, just aim at the roof/driver platform

We all know they will be useless meme tanks outside of event mode
Because They are WW1 tanks with 7km speed and meh weaponry

But Gaijin decided to shame Mark IV/V even inside of this mode.

Dunno. Why the heck did they do?
Biasing Russian empire
Or hatred to the British?

Besides.

I know about this too. Thanks for the friendly reminder, though.

I just wanted to make an example of why Mark V is worthless even if you flank A7V.

Bit of both i’d say, I think the bri’ish tech tree might be the worst after the french one which really sucks.

yup, reread your comment and understood it better, sorry about that

Nah no need to say sorry, It is all good mate.
