I meant having a more meaningful impact, it feels like most of the time they do nothing but stand around and not push objectives. The event is just team death match when it could’ve been something else more special, an Operations style game mode from BF1 would’ve been so much better.
Turns out swappping sides did absolutely nothing and actually made it worse for Entente becuase the A7V can still lob behind cover while the Chamond with the velocity buff has to expose itself
Hope this event can finally get Gaijin to address the traction, having tanks designed to cross trenches be unable to cross trenches is the most absurd thing, peak example of how poorly designed this game is.
Am I alone having mostly bad weather in this event? Most battles are with overcast sky, so the visibility is worse than it could be. Sometimes I even get night battles, although I have this option disabled. I see content creators on YouTube posting Great War battles with bright weather, I cannot remember the last time I had a battle like this.
Since the St Chamand was so hyperbuffed it makes no fun. Everyone just sitting back and is hiding / sniping. Op gun + op shell with double the pen everyone else has + buffed reload…jesus who decided this? Traversing the no mans land is impossible now, Chamond snipes you from 1000m away.
Exactly. Would like to see more weather effects in the future like fog, sandstorms, blizzards and thunderstorms with lightning.
Any chance we can get the Great War map into regular map rotation? With some tweaks it could be used for more tiers. I think it would be a fun map to play with other vehicles.
Im fairly confident I can go to a Home Depot or a Lowes and buy a lawnmover with more horsepower than what these planes have. They have no power. The fastest you can ever get them to go is the moment they spawn. After that, its all speed and power bleed. Which seems wild when some of them like the Spad XIII had 150-300 hp engines. Like sure, all know they’re not fighter jets but they shouldn’t be a hair away from stalling with every slight turn.
Really? It’s a near completely flat map with next to no cover besides a few buildings more modern stuff would just shoot through. That sounds like a spawn camping nightmare of an idea.
