Okay, so I played for a while because I want the collectible vehicles and forced myself to endure RB spotting. It’s more or less fun, but the novelty wore off very quickly. So far this is my opinion:
5000 points per star is not too much of a grind to make it annoying. So that’s good.
The imbalance in both teams comes mostly from map design. The hilly terrain and low velocity guns makes it much easier for the A7V to snipe (at least for those who can aim the damn thing, I don’t get how people can rangefind and hit accurately without being able to see the shell itself), while the Chamond with its gun so low to the ground doesn’t get to spot targets or engage them that easily.
*The armored cars are made for masochists. Literally no reason to use them unless, I don’t know, you hate yourself for some reason.
*The aircraft are… Bad. The Zeppelin is an useless bad of explosives. The Fokker is objectively worse than the SPAD and once you lose altitude, game over, you’re not getting that back. The bomber, I only got to use it once.
*The infantry component is completely wasted. It looks cool, it does nothing, it could be removed and nobody would notice and that is a real shame.

Or the fact that one side gets one shot constantly whilst needing a dozen shots to kill the other side, A7s just rush across the map and as the other side gets stuck everywhere the game is over due to the ticket bleed even if they magically kill the A7s.
calling out gaijin secret nerf to the entente
saint-chamond full lenght 1897 ap round
b1 bis short 75 copy and pasted by gaijin
sau40 sohrtenned 75 1897 that should be more what the saint-chamond fires
and finally the round it should have gotten (and overpressuring would compensate for the a7v 120g of tnt)
Lol the A7Vs armor wasnt Mild steel, it was armor grade steel, a little under demand as they didnt have the correct tooling and applications, but it was armor grade steel.
yep, for some reason the garford is completely immune to overpressure. Gaijin “balancing” of the even is disastrous as the garford HE can and will overpressure most entente vehicles, even from the front, assuming it’s close enough.
