You do realise one good result doesn’t disprove the fact that the event is clearly unbalanced with the bias towards the Germans, right?
If the mission was balanced the desire to play both sides would be much more even
im on eu server where it can take like 3 minutes to find a match. its very long but then you do get a free win while its only misery with the entete side
I must say that i did three german battles today and none of my queues were above 30 sec on EU server
Those are pretty regular actually.
As I said, the main imbalance comes from the map design. The German side can easily move to good positions and the caps from the north.
The Entente has to traverse much more uneven terrain.
The St. Something-French and the A7V can reliably one-hit each other from any distance and the other tanks are barely worthwhile.
The imbalance are the tanks, if anything else. Double the armour, better gun in every way and way better agility

Hell no, the A7V sure can since all the crew of the Chamond is in the front. The other way around is just purely false. You CAN one tap it if you aim at the lower right side of the tank but that’s it. Otherwaise it’s just a hit, driver or just penetrating but non exploding shell
Also the velocity of the 75 was now corrected to 570m/s which will make it even easier.
I hope Gaijin changes this April Fools’ event’s mechanics:
If you choose to use the A7V, all other vehicles will be unavailable. You have no respawns, and if you die once, the Central Powers player is out of the battle.
On the other hand, if you choose any other vehicle, the A7V will be locked for you until the battle ends.

I’m sorry, but saying those are pretty regular is complete rubbish and undermines the credibility of your argument. You are the only person I’ve seen in here saying that you are getting regular wins with Entente. Everyone else’s experience is that you need to be very lucky to get a win.

they’re all event vehicles, where’d you get the idea they’d be forced on new players? if someone joins on april 12th they wouldn’t have any of these vehicles
A7V rarely gets one shot killed, the french tank however often dies to one hit and if not its completely disabled
A7V has so much crew it can take multiple penetrations.

Okay, so I played for a while because I want the collectible vehicles and forced myself to endure RB spotting. It’s more or less fun, but the novelty wore off very quickly. So far this is my opinion:
- 5000 points per star is not too much of a grind to make it annoying. So that’s good.
- The imbalance in both teams comes mostly from map design. The hilly terrain and low velocity guns makes it much easier for the A7V to snipe (at least for those who can aim the damn thing, I don’t get how people can rangefind and hit accurately without being able to see the shell itself), while the Chamond with its gun so low to the ground doesn’t get to spot targets or engage them that easily.
*The armored cars are made for masochists. Literally no reason to use them unless, I don’t know, you hate yourself for some reason.
*The aircraft are… Bad. The Zeppelin is an useless bad of explosives. The Fokker is objectively worse than the SPAD and once you lose altitude, game over, you’re not getting that back. The bomber, I only got to use it once.
*The infantry component is completely wasted. It looks cool, it does nothing, it could be removed and nobody would notice and that is a real shame.

all planes get an air spawn in AB and RB, i doubt the blimps would be in any SB rotation as they usually don’t have a tonne of br1s
Quality is a separate issue from armor treating. There’s a reason we HAVE armor modifiers like RHA and Mild Steel ingame in the first place.
It should be corrected, and the armor of the A7V should be nerfed as such.

the server despawns crashed planes and helicopters, you know? even if someone has it right in front of them, the server would snap it out of existence
