This is pathetic

from my experience a7v gun is better than the french one anyways
The issue isn’t the power-weight, it’s the movement model for WT doesn’t account for the added incline abilities tanks with “wrap around tracks” have correctly. The Churchills have the same problem: famously able to work inclines irl, can’t do it in game.
I do think the A7V’s known ability to bottom out on rough ground due to low ground clearance probably isn’t reflected well here either. It was a case of having the power but just a terrible track arrangement for off-roads, that’s why it could do 15km/h on a road but struggled off it. Chamond and the A/C seem mostly accurate to irl performance.
I think the Mk V would also be performing a little better if you could test drive it. You should be able to use both sponson guns to shoot forward twice as fast with small adjustments, but it’s hard to get used to the buttonology involved and in game you’re dead before you can get much practice with it (at least with the British one). The other tanks are just more intuitive to tank players; gunnery wise they mostly work as expected.
Vehicles in this game just have no torque, they only have momentum.
Having same server issues now as I did at the same time yesterday.
Processing Operation, then spawn timer freezes.
What a fun mode not.
Oh yes, such an OP piece of machinery…totally unbeatable, lol
you probably took a rat position and sniped 4 by pure luck
A7V is much superior to everything else, it can bounce almost all hits and even if you pen it has 18 crew to replace and can even survive multiple bombs next to it
germans have what, 90% winrate?
I shot from the eastern spawn…
Garford Power-to-Weight: 1.4 hp/ton
St. Chamond: 4
Mk V: 5.2
A7V: 6.5
(Pz IV: 12)
You’re moving an 11 ton truck over muddy ground with an engine slightly more powerful than a riding lawn mower/ATV/snowmobile has. It’s only with the AB+ physics in this even that it’s playable at all, it should be hilarious with the real power-to-weight in regular RB if you earn it.
@Stona_WT
Hey, do you know if anything will be done to balance the gamemode ? The german side is so biased, that we have to wait literally 30min to start a game (4 entente players vs 131 german players).
I know it’s just a april fool, but i find it sad to mess up a long awaited event, just for a obvious balance reason.
The Garford // garford-beute is also borderline unusable because it have literally 0 traction, but that’s for another story…
I think we’re getting off track here. There’s no need to involve torque or anything else, the driving is just broken.
3/4 of the Mark track is useless, the 1/4 left is slippery for some reason and you sometimes make a U-turn when you brake. Also the aiming is terribly bouncy and the gun is atrocious
Also am i the only one thinking that planes perform terribly bad ? I knoq the engines are small but hell that thing can’t even take off
if your talking about the Mark V / Beute IV or such its because it has literally 0 suspension, and suspension dampening of probably set to 0, making it jittery
Lol, love all those “German side is OP” people… while already playing the 3rd game in a row playing on the German side and loosing. It is balanced and still fun… plus winning in those events is not important.
Best regards,
Phil
I’m yet to lose the round as germans lol
germany is 100% op
No I mean when you’re at a full stop, the aiming keeps moving around
Bro just watch the stats … never seen ONE game wone by the entente
Should be Called the “Great GE War”
Are you sure you’re playing the same game as us ?
I’ve played both side long enough, and never lost with the german side.
Just look at the waiting queue. 3 entente players vs 134 german players. Because players want to be in the obvious winning side.
For me it is about 60/40.
