War Thunder: The Great War!

The different stages give different things depending on what side you get the star on.

Server side issues should be solved now.
Thanks for patience and once again sorry for troubles.

That’s “an IQ test”.

This would be true if the Chamond was somewhat driveable (better than the Mark though) and if the shell didn’t do nothing 50% of the time

You are not supposed to expose yourself with the Chamond, snipe from the cover of your spawn and you can stop the German advance. The A7V has a massive silhouette and Germany doesn’t have much cover, so it’s easy to get a lucky shot that disables everything.

that’s the problem it’s a LUCKY shot. If you aim, you’ll get a hit because the frontal armour is weird

which is sad about the Vehicles:
No Premium/ Not even the Event Tag, so also cant be used for future events

@Stona_WT @Smin1080p_WT any chance they could still get the Premium Status?

If someone were to learn history from this in-game event, they’d probably think the Germans occupied France twenty years early after the Kaiser’s Battle. The balance in this event is absolutely atrocious - any player who has tried both Allied and Central Powers tanks would choose the A7V without hesitation. Nobody wants to sacrifice their own gaming experience to become someone else’s content. If players want to obtain tanks from both factions, they can easily complete Allied missions in just a match or two, but then have to endure a long, painful grind through excruciating matches to unlock Central Powers vehicles.

Well yea i must admit that the tasks are quick to get at least (when you know what you’re doing, i should add). Feels good to complete everything needed in about an hour or two (excluding waiting times)

Ive played both sides until I completed the event and I must say that the A7V is the best of them all, where the Saint-Chamond comes in second and the Mark V/Beutepanzer IV is at the same place with the Garford/Garford-Beute.

The Mark V/Beutepanzer IV struggles at trenches and the physic is completely messed up, you can’t not get stuck at trenches and some times the vehicle rotates by itself suddenly,

The Saint-Chamond is a good sniping vehicle to counterweight the complete lack of armor with decent mobility but poor gun angles.

The A7V in other hand is a good balance, holds a lot of shots if the enemy don’t place them properly, good reload rate, firepower, gun handling, armor and mobility.

Add the A7V to the Entente side just for making this easier, lol.

they nerfed the reload rate of the A7V and buffed the chamond in the last hour. Maybe now it will be a bit more balanced

all in a littel he car

I just scored 2415 points in 10 minutes, where is the excruciating grind you speak of? 20 minutes is excruciating?

If this event isn’t enough to get Gaijin to return traction to how it used to be, I don’t know what will. The Mark V was literally made to cross trenches and muddy terrain. It can practically go up a vertical incline. In the game, it can’t even get over the broken bridge in the test range.

I’d say the Triple Entente is missing a lot of vehicles, Char 2C and FT-17 that could help, the Chamond is a good sniper and pretty much the carrier of the Entente, the A7V is all around the best, I’d nerf the reload speed for balance.

The Char 2C would completely destroy anyone at any distance with the 155 mm cannon, it’s obvious why it’s not in the event. In other hand the FT-17 could make the Entente in par with the Central.

Considering that the map is mostly hilly, parking behind some hill with the Char 2C is free guaranteed kills using the binoculars to help aim and acquire targets.

No such plans, sorry.

The infantry sort of seem to be more like scenery with not much interaction.

But it is funny to see some dude firing his gun at a tank.
