War Thunder: The Great War!

I’ve played 5-6 games, only on the allied side, I don’t know what to keep from this mode. Apart from the A7V which is full to the brim with crew members, everything else is good to throw in the trash.

I think FPS infantry is a bit too off-brand for War Thunder, player controlled squads might be more suited, maybe being able to deploy these squads from IFVs/APCs/Utility Helicopters/etc.

I played a normal game and now it works, try it

It just keeps joining me to the German team. I won’t play if I can’t play for the Entente.

you can switch nation at the bottom of screen before joining a battle

You guys couldn’t even give Britain balance in an event 😭🤦‍♂️

This event would be so much better if the servers were actually capable of keeping one match lag/crash free

We need arcade mode

It wouldn’t be an issue if they didn’t bar everyone one from participating and creating an exclusive seal clubbing zone.

good to know that A7V is still powerful in both TT and in WW1

The traction (or the lack of it) on the Garford makes it borderline unplayable. I’ve gotten stuck on tiny slopes, and the mobility on mud (90% of the map) makes it unbearably slow and unmanouverable.

Perhaps some improved traction could be introduced?

Double the armor, double the crew, faster reload speed and everything, yet no one at Gaijin thought this was a stupid idea, to the surprise of no one.

Event is a mess…
Ping jumps to 1k, vehicle steering is horrible, mark V move right on its own, generally test it before releasing and patch it…

So somehow the question if the stuff is getting tested before, seems to be against rules and is getting removed. Bravo. Hint: The comment was not against rules.
