For example,
Every Kaiser-fan loves A7V when they just steamrolls the match
but hates Gaford when they flank the line and one-tapping A7V.
right?

A7 were also used bei Freikorps troops to supress comunist uprisings in Germany after war ended. Historically it was the fastest one with 16km/h and the armor was good as well. On some old photos there also seems to be an A7 without this exposed driver cupola???
HA.
Understood it wasn’t just the 2 countries - was keeping my keystrokes down.
But I’m still curious how others found the balance of each side - if they found the Entente to be at a disadvantage. Seemed like they go uphill a lot more to get to the Caps than the axis.
0-10 is a poor result.
It creates an imbalance in the gameplay side.
Also, Historically, A7V is built with the smallest number in all 6 tanks of this mode.
The German team can utilise 32 A7V, while they were built 20 in total irl. That is madness if you talk about historical accuracy.
I finished the third day’s task (halfway there, I can’t wait to be finished with this).
Thats true, but thats not how WT works. Even single unit prototypes like maybe…the Falcon SPAA can be spawned without limitations.
A7 isn’t as good anways. Gajin did some changes and its fairly easy to kill. Currently I prefer the speed car. There is almost no tankiness imho, you need to hide now. They day#1 A7 was great, you could push over the trenches. Now you get shot or one of the NPC troopers throws a grenade and nukes you.
Edit: Also A7 speed advantage is gone.
St Chamon did 12 km/h historically. It got arcaded up to 20 km/h.
Mark V did 7 km/h, it got arcaded up to 13 km/h or something (to lazy to check).
A7 did 16 km/h historically and got buffed to … well it remains at 16 km/h top speed :)
See Gajin doing its job …
Yeah it’s a total campfest. hardly anyone goes for caps. Players just sit back lobbing shots.
Boooring.
Played it day 2. Entente side went 0-10 as I ground out the days task.
When were the changes you refer to made?
I understand that your disappointment about the way A7V has been treated
And now this game mode is nothing but a campfest with indirect fire from Gaford Arty Truck
But really, day 1 A7V was nothing but insane.
If Kaiser had this amount of A7V, at that condition.
As a joke, then they might even capture London and win WW1. :/
lol what
Look at the other team, it appears braindead ^^
120g APHE usually one-tapping every st-chamond they face.
Bertepanzer Mk.IV also uses the same gun, but it is difficult to use thanks to the furbar status of the multi-turret system of WT nowadays.
while 16g APHE from Mark V takes forever to kill A7V unless the shell hits and explodes ammo-rack.
Every win of Entente seems carried by good Gaford drivers who can flank and spam HE on A7V’s side armor to me.
Not even the side armor but the armor of the commander and driver’s bridge
So, I think
A7V maybe isn’t as strong as day 1
Good players can counter them.
But it still has a significant advantage over both Chamond and Mk. V
Even with some buff on entente tanks in both historical and arcady ahistorical side.
So they will steamroll the match, and Entente will always lose unless good Gaford players overpressure them.
And both sides can use almost the same Gaford. Then, Good Gaford players will enjoy playing on the German side too.
I think Entente’s day 6 plan will be
I really struggle with the garford, the only time I can kill an A7v quickly is by hitting the grate on its roof and waiting for all 18 crew to perish, usually takes 3 - 4 minutes because it only rarely actually pens
I didnt lose a single game in A7V yet.
Until you realise pitching down makes the elevators go up and pitching up makes them go down. Then you despise it.
its a relatively common bug for new/untested vehicles, im suprised how such a simple and obvious bug can make it onto the live
it’s been upsetting me greatly, along with the empty bomb racks, and the fact you can drop bombs upside down through the canvas roof.
