What they testing is a new mechanics for planes(mostly crashes), which does not include zeppelin and infantry as AI to make battles more realistic. So if everything goes well. at November-December we’ll see an update with it.

No shot we’ll get a separate WW1 BR range in my opinion. The devs struggled to find 6 unique tanks for the event and had to copy-paste two of them because there are very few vehicles suited for the game. Vehicles of the time were mostly armed with machine guns to my knowledge because tank-to-tank combat was basically not a thing until WW2.
They could go down to BR 0.0 and have 0.0-0.3-0.7 bracket.
This would not apply to only WW1 tanks, could be existing tanks in the game.
There are also several interwar tanks that would qualify that aren’t in the game.
