dude, the sim community is not happy. All AESA radars are completely broken. Top tier is unplayable and su-30 premium spam is everywhere

You can’t stop people from using it, so in matches you have no idea who you’re playing against or with. You have to manually check.

I couldn’t find anything about it in the graphics changes but since Spearhead has dropped the Heat Haze effect is disabled and the option to toggle it off and on is not in graphics settings I take it this will be re-enabled sometime soon?

So apparently missiles are somewhat broken again, would love if anyone could confirm. My R73 just direct hit an F18 and did absolutely nothing

Why when i am in game it doesn’t show Norway as a flag, instead it just shows Sweden

I’ve been getting the occasional crit, launched a R-77 4km point blank in a head on with a target.

Are you using a Norwegian vehicle? I selected Swiss flag for Germany yet when I spawned my Marder A1, it displayed the West/Modern Germany flag on the leaderboard.

it doesn’t even show Finland as i play for Norway and my friend for Finland, doesn’t show any from them, just Sweden

The JH7A premium is pretty bad, that plane is useless without radar missiles. I don’t see why anyone would spend $80 on that thing. It’s just like the F16 Netz but the Netz is even worse.

Guys, I have a crazy proposal, why not model IRCM properly? There is no system in the world that can jam a volley of 16 missiles. Or better yet, why not model LDIRCM coverage angles and missile jamming cooldowns realistically? Instead, you decided to nerf the lock range to 4 km for all aircraft type like that’s gonna do anything… Planes are now immune to it, nobody ever flies 100 feet above the ground while doing CAS, radar is awful so maintaining a radar lock for 15 or 10 km will be impossible.

These systems like IRIS-T are too complex, the IIR cap jettison will be influenced by many factors, such NCTR, type of target, target distance and speed, etc. 10 km lock range was already an underestimate but an acceptable one, but 4 km is worse than Stingers in rear aspect.

This just shows that Gaijin devs have no intention to fix LDIRCM to something realistic, there is no reason to bring IRIS-T in your lineup since it literally will do nothing against helicopters still.

That certainly is one of the takes of all time… the Netz is the hands down best 12.7 apart from the undertiered OCU. And the main purpose of the JH7A is to be played in the ground lineup, which it does incredibly well. As for A2A it’s fine nothing special tho.

I mean we all know that this explanation is just pure bs right? This is just a sad excuse to nerf the only top tier SPAA that could reliably fight back against CAS

They don’t want to fix it, they outright don’t care, the state of LDIRCM on release was pure malice on their behalf, and now they are doubling down on not doing anything. They just used it as an excuse to nerf the only missile that can shoot down planes out of the sky.

The helis wouldn’t even to much of an issue if the rotors gave radar returns so that radar sams could easily deal with them
