War Thunder "Ninth Wave" - Changelog

Recently, DDoS attacks on the game’s infrastructure have increased. We’ve been mitigating them as quickly as we can, however some players experienced issues with authentication and joining battles. As a token of our gratitude for your patience, we are granting the following compensation:

  • 1 day of Premium Account
  • +50% Research Point booster (for 3 battles)
  • +50% Silver Lion booster (for 3 battles)
  • A 24-hour extension to complete the “Mark of Distinction for sailors 3” task in the Pacific Pearl event

We’ve strengthened monitoring and protection to better counter attacks. Thank you for your understanding and support. See you in battle!

Are we yet on Steam level support of Counter attacks?

Gaijin’s audacity to call Tiger 2 armor is nonexistence is insane (at least not against heat)

Out here implying [or overtly calling] American planes “Russian”.
SLAM ERs were not removed either.
Your post is pure fantasy.

So… we got a Ariete nerf? Seriously?..

After update:

Literally -80mm of armor, and added new internal models to make it easier to destroy the tank.
And I completely forgot, they reduced the anti-splinter pads…

The pl12A received a new motor?

The thread about DDoS attacks is locked, but in any case, well done on the compensation, it’s a nice gesture!

PoBIT still only has the JHMCS and has no map MFD available. And it gets stock C-5’s when the F18 and 15GE get the D…? Come on, what are we doing. Please just give it the rafale HMD as a placeholder, the plane was already irrelevant as it is.

F18 E and F are also missing the IRST pod.

The failure of the rudder and elevator control cables in aircraft is no longer dependent on the tearing off of the stabilizer surfaces, rudders, or vertical stabilizers, allowing control of the remaining elevator or rudder elements to be maintained. Control rods can still be disabled by directly destroying the control rod components themselves or by disabling them through tail separation.

Does that mean the F-16 finally won’t lose elevator + rudder control only because its tail was scratched? :D

Just took AS90 for a test drive. How is that 7.0, but the Sholef is 7.3, lmao.

Cool update, but before i was playing at 100fps medium settings and now i barely get 60 in ultra low. Please make your game a bit lighter.

Go into your graphics settings and check that the graphics adapter is set to Direct X11, not 12. This update defaulted it back to 12 and it tanked my frames too. Went from 70 to 170 when I swapped back to 11.

Israel tax.

(Although overall this has been the first W update for Israel in a good while.)

Still no fix to the NF5A’s missing SAS, incorrect Flaps or incorrect cockpit model? what a suprise. ig thats what 80$ buys you, a plane the devs dont bother to finish.

also still no HETF for the CV9035?

Wont come beacause it doesnt have ir tracking, its got umtaas or something

I saw that. Some new toys to play with on the F-15I. To be clear, I love that Britain has the AS90 and it looks fantastic. I’m just confused why Sholef is 7.3, lol. I guess not all minor nation tax is the same.

Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System (UTAAS), which ok maybe not planes but sure as hell against heli’s, also gaijin specifically modeled the munition programmer…so why not give it the programmable munition?, and even if, you can still just set fuse by laser range finding to blow heli’s out of the sky. dont need an active tracker for that.

Still a bit disappointing that Russia was given an SPAA it really did not.

Because there are no NATO missiles like it lol
NATO has of course made similar, thrust vectoring IR missiles but they’re all significantly better than the 73

Oh yeah absolutely. But gaijin doesnt want to add that system (utaas) because it is used to track tanks as well
