If u want short unrealistic games without the use of airfields go play arcade. Also shame for gaijin they spend time and effort in making beautiful airfields and people just ditch them because they want this game looking more like arcade ace combat

I want realistic gameplay with having fun and normal reward but i dont want to stare at the screen for 2 min until i start to fight
If i had a mode with realistic gameplay and few spawns like arcade(and bigger maps ofc) i would play it
I can agree the second spawn should be from the airfield and thats how u will see the airfield mechanic without it being annoying
If u want to have super realistic u should play sim
If you want arcade matches go play arcae, that’s your stance and point isn’t it with “go play sim”. See how that attitude looks and how silly it is to the person your saying it to?
Besides it’s just jot a popular thing at all for various negative reasons: The recent addition of airspawns to maps on higher tiers
If you hit up Reddit sub too and search the topics about airspawns theyre just full of people moaning about then being a rubbish change and more importantly who eve asked for them to start with to have such a big change inpemented without any community engagement first.
It’s not like they’ve made the spawn speeds fair or right to start with so the whole idea is broken from the off anyway. You get f111 spawning in at 400mph next to an f14 that spawns in so fast it immediately starts decelerating because it just cat fly that fast under its own steam
What u say dont make sense. U want bigger maps but u wont fly for minutes. With bigger maps u will fly longer too. And now with air spawns, you also still fly minutes to get to the target zone.

I dont want arcade i want arb with less time to stare at the screen
With air spawn u fly less and its nevecery change if we want big maps so its a step in the right direction
I want big maps cuz i want bvr and u right that at tge stary it will be more time but thats why i want more spawns at the game both in number and places

Kinda like sim but arb but without first spawn on airfield cuz its a waste of time
And btw not all sim maps are so big and i do choose the small maps when i play from time to time

We all want something. Most of us don’t want airspawns and never asked for them and if we had have been asked you just know they’d more than likely have been refused too and the status quo of taking off like planes do, kept.
But we all want big maps right?
And this will never happend with airfield spawn cuz its pain to alot of players

Not really, I personally like big maps for sim and standard/smaller maps for ARB. I’m not a fan of the EC style maps in rb at all, I’d rather they brought back/added a specific EC mode for that tb
And again, from all the comments on posts about it both here, Reddit, discord etc the majority are negative about airspawns and most people don’t want them

Also most of ur points about airfield are based on feeling or arent valid/related to airspawn
Bad weather machnic was fixed and speed diffrances can be fixed easily if gaijin will too
Before this change the gameplay was mainly furtballs now u have more ppl that go for bvr and this is what modern jets are up too
I do agree there is some braindead missiles spammers that are braindead and thats why we need smaller player count that will make ppl do a great bvr battles
Also ur poll is old and was before the bad weather fix so we need an updated opinion from the community
I also think this kind of game changing polls needs to be in the game itself and not on the forum so it will meet more parts of the community and not just the ppl who come to the forum to complain

I dont mind airfield spawn on small naps but on big maps its pain and i see alot of ppl in the game that complained about it
The poll isn’t really old, it’s been there since the full intro of the airspawns.
It’s still getting votes too so again not invalid and, outside of that we’re getting regular discussion on the topic too.
It’s also not the only metric of the change being negative. The overwhelming response I’ve seen, and believ me I’ve invested time in looking into this, is that theyre not wanted in the man and they don’t bring any benefit.
You mention my points are based on feeling, yet the only point you have to support your want is “I don’t want to take off because it saves me 30seconds” is entirely subjective and feeling based to be fair.
Anyone who argues about rewards too seems to forget the free reward you get just for successfully taking off.
Anyway, I really don’t think the devs will care regardless given how we tend to be ignored on anny feedback on things like this and they’ll leave things as they are or make them worse some more somehow going forward
Ye you’re right. Its basically only 30 seconds extra with the superb accelaration of top tier jets. And i just like the gimmick of seeing everyones camos, decals , putting smoke on etc etc
Yep, I loved being able to see all the different camos and sometimes seeing someone with something rare and I’d never seen before and so on, I remember random discussion in game chat about them even when someone had a cool one but now…

If the entire Team has airspawn starting from the Runway is a serious disadvantage so airspawn just becomes the default
