Why is naval still this punishing to grind?
With the introduction of new top-rank ships, why aren’t the research point costs for older naval ranks being reduced?
Naval vessels already require way more RP than aircraft or ground vehicles of the same rank — making the mode much less attractive by default.
Just look at Japan as an example:
Ground tech tree:
Rank V: 82,000 – 105,000 RP
Rank VI: 135,000 – 190,000 RP
Naval tech tree:
Rank V: 125,000 – 290,000 RP
Rank VI: 390,000 – 400,000 RP
Why are we grinding hundreds of thousands more RP in a mode that’s already less popular due to long-standing design issues, poor matchmaking, and limited player interest? This just further discourages people from even touching naval.
The ^destroyed by^ annoying screen … yes off my game or give an option out of it.
Seriously , instead of giving resources to serious elements, you bring that ^can easily do without^ or even just useless and annoying features…
This feature just wastes time to the screen when i rejoin battle…
Seriously GJ, are you so much into wasting my time , really… It’s like ads, but in a game… i don’t play that crap.
…When a player’s vehicle is destroyed by another player, a “killer card” is now shown with information about the player, the vehicle and ammunition they used.
a completely annoying and far too large image that is produced here.
I don’t need a picture of a tank with the commander’s avatar to know that I’ve just been destroyed.
The picture is completely irritating and breaks the SILENCE of the deceased in this battle.
Sorry gaijin this is not what I need in a tank battle or wherever, if I want to know who destroyed me and when I open the battle menu and can look it up.
It annoys me, i can’t pick vehicle fast, i have to watch the crapscreen…
I mean, previously you had the message in the screen , but ok… you could move on … now it takes an eternity if you want to go fast.
In ARB, i don’t care because i can ^to hangar^ not giving a ph…
but in anything else that seconds are precious i have to watch that crap.
There was a good mechanic - now it’s broken - nothing new.
With the current situation, we can expect an outflow of a significant part of the players who played in the fleet before the patch. Even considering the small number of these players.

Am I able to bug report this? The MiG-23BN in the German tree switched lines, and despite me researching it, I’m now unable to buy it because of the update. Aren’t there usually grace periods after a transition like this? Did the devs forget to fix this, or was it intentional?
Nope! It is not. It is useless info, when i am interessted in this kind of Info i can easily and in depth do it in the Aftermatch screen.
This here is only unnessescarily time consuming. You can’t even skip it.
It is simply a bad Design.
Yes, yes, you’re just not like everyone else xd
But decorating and showing off your avatar is a feature of almost every online game. And most players like it. Or take a look at Steam, for example.
Don’t worry, you’ll cry for a couple of days, and then you’ll get used to it, as always.
I’m glad that Gaijin has finally started paying attention to the design of their game, because it was stuck in 2000.
Mfw when Gaijin didn’t folder the new Finnish Hornet so they can increase grind. (I have already made a bug report about it, go bump it up please, this is just stupid…)
I actually enjoy this change, but after some time playing, I think it is a bit too large. It just looks out of place and unnatural. I very much like the information displayed, just not the format that its in!
