War Thunder Infantry: Testing Details

You’re so goddamn naive thinking that you can use ur reserve soldiers as assets, they’re a liability rather.
They won’t act like a player, they will give away your position BIG TIME. And at last you’ll be extra dizzy trying to control them. Just go play enlisted, it’s a mess, you’ll hate the idea in the first 5 mins

Enlisted has an option to play without a squad. That gamemode is dead asf. Playing without a squad just doesnt work in war thunder where tanks and infantry have realistic damage models.

Bots just a spawn point, doesn’t do anything and if enemy finds your bots, you pretty much dead. If tanks shots HE into building pretty much multiple kills.

Movement are copied from Active Matters. Some animations same. Performance looks like identical there and here. Other parts are copied from Enlisted.

God… They will make maps small too. Gaijin I hope you were in stock market, big win on short deals📉

They just took Enlisted’s nauseating head bobbing and arm gun movement for this game. Very disappointed.

I don’t like it when games don’t use separate view models for 1st and 3rd person. I hate it when devs try to match movement and animations for a single view model, it just looks horrible and makes the movement unnecessarily jank.

BVVD said that a game mode without bots may appear later. He didn’t say anything else.
The differences between AB and RB will be in the player markers.

yeah this tells me that the mode will fail horrendously,i was hopefuly it’ll be at least uniquely good in its own way but nah,i think arma or squad have better animations than whatever this will have,also weapons having br and being huge in the rectangle thing is ugly asf hahaha

They did mention it in the stream as well but it was a bit confusing as they said RB mode doesn’t have squads but then later when they started RB mode there were still squads.

Either way it is a beta test so there is every opportunity for players to leave feedback on things like that.

Yeah I think its a safe bet to say that most people would like to see such a mode and as they said a few times this CBT is going to be a long test as there is so much that can be done IMO.

Hope there are no squads in rb

Oxy said there will be no squad system in RB, however when he played it, it still showed squads. Most of the Youtube comments are complaining about the squad system as well.

I think the only difference between AB and RB was the latter lacking enemy markers. In my opinion, it still has too much HUD like hit markers and the kill feed.

Enlisted is indeed made by Gaijin. Darkflow is Gaijin. It’s Gaijin employees working at Gaijin’s office in Riga, Latvia.

Want a job at Darkflow? You apply to Gaijin. My guess is that Gaijin employees work on Enlisted when they have spare time away from War Thunder. That would explain why Enlisted produced so very little content each update.

Enlisted is published by Gaijin. Darkflow is a seperate entity.

This is similar to how Pokemon is published by Nintendo but isnt made by nintendo themselves.

however i wouldnt be surprised if gaijin has just copypasted most of the background stuff over from enlisted. enlisted uses a lot of war thunder models and assets already so it going both ways makes sense from a development perspective

He won’t. He just won’t ever dare to play, thats it. The ones who scream the most are the ones who won’t play even if devs will do what they want. Because they want more and more, Lulzwhat is not happy with respawn system, with maps, with squad mechanic, with vehicle spawn mechanic and so on.

He just won’t play and thats it.

I think of a bot as an equipment. As something like a spike missile. Or multi-vehicle SPAA. Its not a game-changer, but its a neat mechanic that you can use as a squad or, if you don’t like it - just as a respawn mechanic.

I see completely 0 problems with using squads as a respawn mechanic, why not? You all start to complain just because you doesn’t spawn out of thin air as in battlefield? Bruh.

Bruh, you can just order him to go and shoot an enemy tank, wdym?
