I wouldn’t say Japan is bad, this is a pretty good set to have with Kh-38 CAS (and the second best carrier for them only after the Su-30SM2) and a good set of MBTs with the Leopard 2RI that actually provides some armor and the Type 10s that while playing more like light tanks than MBTs are actually good in that role. The Oplot is also there.
But there’s also drawbacks compared to others. The 2RI is a well armored tank, but it’s the only one thanks to the Oplot being as fragile as it is in game. The Type 10s do well in a light tank role, but don’t actually have the ability to scout and reduce CAS SP so far that you need to uptier 9.7 vehicles. The SPAA options are limited to the decent but inflexible Type 03 and the Tan-SAM Kai that’s currently competing for the most bugged vehicle in the game.
So I’d say they could make the top 5 depending on how you rank it, but would be below nations like USSR (more consistent ground lineup, slightly better Kh-38 carrier, far better SPAA).
hello @Smin1080p_WT or @Stona_WT , is it possible to forward this bug report Community Bug Reporting System , since this new mechanic is only working for AI ships when the wording seems to imply that it should also affect player-controlled ships.
If that’s not supposed to be the case, can you just give a clear response to confirm so.

to be honest add stuff that still should be added such as the bombs on the ho 229 and fix lots of ahistorical things and (respectfully) fucking remove the ahistorical nerfs on some vechicles but one thing i do love that you guys have been doing is adding more modules to stuff, sure it might make repairs longer buttttt i love the extra details in x rays! the game is honest fun but there IS ALOTTT to fix.
