I’m curious what the stats will be for 3BM42-2, if it will be the same as 3BM42M that we had in the past.
Arguably a more significant buff for the BVM than for the T-90s, since the BVM can now choose to run a worse but still 500+mm pen dart for a 0.4 second faster reload.
Looks like Heli battles are completely unplayable at lower tiers now, Gepards and ZSUs intercept every missile coming at them. Doubt it will ever be fixed too
@Smin1080p_WT or @Stona_WT (or any other staff really)
question , because this is very confusing
in the patch notes we can clearly see that this was indicated
this is backed-up by data in files indicating what armement is supposed to have this feature (see bellow)
HOWEVER after some testing , this feature seems to only half work
the secondary’s , controled by ai , will clearly target incomming amunition (not just missile , bomb’s to , etc …) , but for some reason they will not fire. (see bellow exemple with ASM-2 , but this was tested with other type of munition’s)
+several other exemple’s that didn’t fit in the forums in this mega link
on the other end AI ships will defend themselves against said ammunition just fine (see bellow)
.
. THE QUESTION THEREFOR IS are player controlled ships supposed to have this feature , or is it supposed to be only AI controlled ship that have access to said feature ?
BECAUSE the only sentence about it is so vague , idk how i supose to interpret it , and if i need to do a bug report or not about it … ?
Such a long changelog and the game is now as unplayable as ever. At this point just AI generate things and put it as changelog might as well be the same thing.
Refusing to balance things and overall incompetency of the developers of this game is stupid. You purposefully have to be so bad at making a game shitty when you have everything to make it great. every time someone bring something about the BMPT you just stay silent, After spending money in this game I would wish I would have never done it because as a customer I feel deeply stupid for have speeded it on a game which instead of being fun is just frustrating. Also lets make it less obvious the bot reviews on steam can we?
I know am gonna get banned for this and at this point I don’t care. Insufferable game with oppressing forum and incompetent developers.
he dont fire becouse the radar lock when you use that’s ship dont work with the sam becouse have an a saclos so it fine. it half implemented in future when let all work good with the sah/sarh and add same surface radar for see better the antiship missile he work for moment i think he work only for ia correctly.
when you tested on the nuclear thunder is normal he work is an a base of testing how to balance modern ship.
Are we ever going to see major sales come to consoles eg the summer sale
I simply can’t afford to always buy premiums at full price and don’t want to wait until the 1 or 2 sales there are for consoles which are only 20 to 30% anyways
The problem with LMUR is trajectory, i.e. control, not seeking, probably also apply to other AGMs. It never dropped before the target, but fly over. Especially when:
the map is with tree and rocks.
significant height difference exist.
the target moved towardly.
When there’s a mountain between the heli and target (a base), the missile still attempts to implement ‘cruise’ stage, which eventually lead to a crash into the mountain.
It seems that the missile failed to correct in its terminal stage. The cruise stage worked properly, yes, but the missile always try to reach the cruise stage, even it’s really short.
The ballistic algorithm must consider a possible hit zone, and the target should be always included into it, thus, keep the target in the engagement zone, which it failed. The zone should be determined like, if the terminal maneuver started, the nearest boundary it could reach. The ‘cruise’ trajectory also lead to problem with anti-aircraft hit.
IDK, but if the dev is using 4th bezier curve or something, try dividing it. It’s a missile, and should be with some correction real-time-ly. If the problem can’t be figured out, I strongly recommend you to give up the cruise stage idea, which is quite reasonable IRL.
Continue the topic about LMUR trajectory problems. IRL, therere indeed some reasons for a missile to perform maneuvers. Take these examples:
Fly-over needed for SAR. e.g. P-750 or P-1000. This requires a side SAR radar.
Cruise and fly-over needed for tercon, to correct its lane. e.g. Ukrainian ‘Hornet’ UAV. This require a relatively high FOV. (LMUR doesn’t have it)
Usual cruise missile. They has a radio altimeter. (LMUR doesn’t have it)
What LMUR have is merely a TV imager, probable some inert stuff. It probably dosen’t even have the meaning to know its height, how could you think it will cruise with it?
With a imager, what you can know is the target angle, which allows you to do some high-rise trajec or something:
Terminal stage could be with pro-nav or something like that. I mean just feasible, not realistic.
