War Thunder "Alpha Strike" - Changelog

I have no idea what you did devs, but SB is unplayable.

  • All missiles are invisible
  • They are tracking wierdly or not tracking at all
  • Servers keep lagging out
  • Radars cant see targets that are right in front of you

What are the IRL requirements for this to be added? Or is it a case by case basis? There are other aircraft id like to see SAS mode added to, but Ive never gotten an answer for the requirements for it.

So “nice” you remove spaa from helipads - now 2-3 palnes a battle sit over it all the time. The most stupid decision this update - just made spaa actually a threat instead of promote spawn camping - since no one care about red zone and being shown on map when its just easy kill.

The SPAA never worked. It was just suppose to show you that there’s an enemy nearby.
Instead you get an indicator on the map or something like that.

i use the VEAK 40 as a Firesupport / SPAA role. Never offencive. Just hide by the mid-rear side and turn Radar & Engine off wait for either Aircraft/helicopters. Or a Light tank attempting to side rush our spawn. When i have a good target opurtunity i turn on loud turbine engine and activate radar if im targeting aircraft. AND LET IT RIP!

I only really die to Enemies ive killes coming back in a tank and rushing me frontaly. :O

So on top of missiles being broken in Sim and CB, now the chat is buggin too?

Is anyone else missing the Custom matches mode filter? All I see are all match types blende together with no option to filter for AB, RB, or SB Difficulty modes?

The change to remove the concrete pipes that covered the right hand side southern spawn is horrible and just promotes spawn camping.
The issue never has been “a safer start” but the fact that the enemy can shoot into the spawn with ease after a few minutes of game and if the enemy team captures the northern point (usually A) then they dominate that side and camp your spawn.

Where is the right place to feed this back to the map designers and hope they revert the changes back?

A few sentences caught my attention.

"Gaps have been closed and the spawn points on the Carpathians location have been protected. " … destroyed this map before. You can’t flank enemy from C point side and the 2nd added spawn not protected, hard to leave it safe not just in AB in RB also thanks to additional flora in field next to roads in top side. This provide perfect cover for spawn campers small tanks. In other hand you need to hill climb which have a negative effect on slow armores and low gun depression tanks.

“The aircraft part of the Karelia location has been expanded.” …and also the terrain modified in tank battle again a bit as i saw, which provide us a new map which more CQC style than the previous and the old one. oldschool TD like Hetzer, Su-85 useless and unplayable on this map or suffer heavy looses thanks to forced CQC.

“Structures covering the Northern spawn point of the right team on the “Abandoned Factory” location have been changed to provide a safer start on the way to the capture point.” …thats not true, because it more opened removed the old good cover and reduced the player attack ways number. Also added the pipes into movement ways, so you should get out them with bigger circle which not just not provide protection, increase the first and second wave attack time. Middle stuctures have one output and one input way. The input and output way also a bottleneck. Secondly the three factory structure provide less cover which the previous two garanted when opposite team captured the hill.
Not to talk the following construction: if the enemy enter the hill or take that houses nothing will provide cover and spawn protection. Sadly this map with this modification not got an improvement
