4.7 to 5.0 is not a significant uptier.
And the VK isn’t meant to be a breakthrough tank. It’s a fast medium. Armour isn’t it’s meta. Churchill is armour first and only

Wait, now that I think of it there are only TD’s with a gun that can reliably UFP the VK at or below 6.0, at least for the US

I’ve found that the 17pdr can also do it, albeit it the lack of spalling is sometimes a problem.

Yeah I know some British tanks can punch straight through it, and Soviet TD’s obliterate it. But US only really has the Jackson and b2 Jackson to deal with VK’s efficiently. Nothing against the Jackson, just that VK is a light medium tank and you should be able to pen it’s UFP with about anything in an uptier. If they made it 5.3 or 5.7 this is fixed

Yeah I can’t think of anything US at ~5.0 that can reliably UFP it.
The best method to deal with the German cats was to hit the muzzle break and then flank, but it seems they’ve nerfed the damage done to barrels, so I’ve no idea how Gaijin expects us to kill them, especially since the US counters are TD’s at ~5.7

US short 90 is realistically found at about 6.7.
Ever since they moved up M26 yeah :/ some ppl still use the m36 though, it isn’t bad

I like the M26, not a fan of the 36 personally.
I did not realise we still had panthers at 5.3 and this at 5.0 tbh meanwhile got shermans at 6.7 xD

As it is right now, it is much closer in playstyle to a casemate than a medium.
