I’ve hit those shots reliably from much further away. The Panther turret isn’t strong at all, just finnicky sometimes. You’ll also miss the spot you aimed for entirely, and then your shell lands in some other part where it slices straight through. This happened to me like… yesterday? In the Chi-Ri. I underestimated the range, missed the flat mantlet, and it hit the turret face below the mantlet. One shot kill.
It’s 80mm flat. That’s the same armor as a Pz IV.
You mean I shot in the exact spot I KNEW where it would pen, without even checking anywhere else in the protection analysis or using the protection map?
Why are you shooting at a Panther from 1100m away? I used 2000m to show that you can pen a Panther at ANY range.
The difference is one can be done EASILY by a novice player, with no real way for enemies to fight back and the other actually takes some amount of skill.
Dude, your only problem against the VK is because is German and certain allies mains cant tolerate good german vehicles for “some reasons”.
I face the VK playing Soviets, USA and UK and is far far from be a problem.
