also 11-13hp per 1000KG is pretty normal for a tank, its only with more modern MBTS that we see them push upwards of 15hp per 1000KG

if the VK 30.01 has to be 6.0 due to a slight bit better accelrartion than most other heavys the challenger should be 6.3
mind you majority of the heavy tanks around 5.7 6.0 are way better armored as even a sherman 75 can pen this thing frontally within 300m
i expect it around 5.3
youre comparing a Cromwell variant, which is a glorified light tank to heavy mediums-heavy tanks get real with yourself

the 75mm can theoretically do it up close. but from playing the 75 jumbo a fair bit myself thats not realistic, cupola snipes are far too easy because of APHE though.

funnily enough the VK.30.01 is more like a 4.0 panzer IVH than anything they have roughly the same frontal armor thickness of 80MM

the VK 30.01 is most comparble to the 5.3 comet having exetremely similar armor a difference by a few MM 76mm vs 80
and literally any tank is faster than the cent cause the british managed to make a tank slower than the sherman which isnt very fast in warthunder as its top end speed is rather low
vehicles in this game are adjusted based on there class for example M26 was 6.3 as a heavy tank so it actually had a chance to use its armor
the VK 30.01 is a siege tank so BRing it as such would likely end it as 5.3 or 5.7

I dont think comparing the 1940-1942 tanks that set the standard for tank design in the next couple years, to its retaliation designs is a bad faith thing to do.
1943 designed, 1944 tested and in service by 45 as a british counterpart to tiger 1. wasnt until centurion 2 where the tank would really come into its own.
Almost like its geared for rough terrain and not roads, not a single tank geared for 30mph is hitting that over fields, not even close. Centurions will do their 22 anywhere.

the only diffenence is the T1E1 90 has a better gun and 2 of them and 100MM of armor and a STAB while the VK 30.01 is a bit faster
there are far worse things sitting at same BR as there complete upgrades such as M26 T26E5 we are not having a repeat of that again
