I did not notice any fps loss when driving around it on the dev.
There are some but much fewer and they don’t have mounds around them.
Edit: I went back in and looked and they are still there just covered in grass so less noticeable.

Its one of those more problematic maps that could use more than visual touch.
Thouse narrow corridors are extremely easy to cutoff and on the other side, the forrest area is kind of a deadzone.
Isn’t the fun of easter eggs finding them on your own while playing? Like, cmon

It would be better to return the map to its original size, without red death zones and cut-off areas.
oh but thats why now you can look at the easter egg while being stuck in the canyon where (obviously depending on br, but generally the higher the worse) no one of the southern team should ever go to, because unless you are in a incredibly fast light tank (theres barely any at top tier) you wont make it out of there before getting shot from early sniper spot on the hill and if you get stuck there for 30 seconds early you will also have a guy sitting above you. You just dont have the time to push out of there into any positions in a normal mbt without being completely surrounded. Now, i really like the looks on the reworked maps, especially reworked poland looks gorgeous in the little town. If (judging from the pictures) this rework is of a similar quality then thats awesome. But why not use that rework to also work a bit on its playability and make it a bit less onesided for the southeastern part of the map?
Oh and the way around (that was a viable way to push out of southern spawn before the red area frenzy that happened on most maps) is out of bounds and the timer runs out for anything thats not really fast before making it through. I understand this was done to prevent the other team from flanking around and sitting hull down unrevealed behind southwestern teams spawn, but why not make it so that only the defending team can cross this area without timer (equally ofc on the other side for northern team), or at least that the attackers get autoscouted there? there would have been so many options instead of cutting this whole area off which was a good opportunity to break out of being spawnlocked through that damn canyon? @Stona_WT ? i bet 9 out of 10 matches in high tier/top tier southern team loses half its players there that just don’t know it is basically pointless to push through the canyon…
In higher tiers it is basically southern team fights for the cap on the hill and maybe one guy early caps b, then is stuck there and tries to hold it for as long as possible, while the other team fights for the whole map. That could imo been solved by reducing the time needed for southern team to push through the canyon by a bit (or simply add some more cover at the canyon exit to not make it a be-shot-from-all -sides-and-die hellhole), similar to how it is for the northern side (so at least a couple of mbts can make it through to contest that whole area of the map somewhere that at least somehow resembles a usable position instead of sitting in the canyon questioning your life’s decisions - never done that, i know how that ends but i have locked the whole southern part of the map numerous times from these positions just because how easy it is). Northern team can push through their canyon without being shot leaving it, without several tanks sitting above the canyon shooting into their side (at least at the beginning of the match). Its literally every match that northern team gets free reign over the whole southern part of the map with somewhat equal chances to control the other parts…

Do you also remove the offmap timer at the western and eastern map edges? The map lost 1 whole pipe @ east and the open range in the western part. Became really too small and completly without flank options.
I’m generally always glad for visual improvements but did you make any game play/balance improvements? Because this is one map that desperately needs it.
Only the real ones remember the sniping/SPAA spot behind the southwest spawn 😞
We need actual map improvements, increasing size, reducing choke points and large open areas with no cover. This face lifting is doing nothing to make these ancient maps more playable for higher tiers
Gotta love when visual improvements make the map even more unbalanced. Now from north side you can shoot into south side bottom left spawn all the way from C3 lol. No cover at B that is currently present or a completely new random rock on A preventing view to the horizon.
visual improvement is nice, but is actual improvement ever going to happen? there are more horrible maps than there are playable
