In the community, some players have already developed a CAS strategy where they approach the combat zone at low altitude and then perform a vertical ascent to avoid the radar scanning range of the SPAA. I guess the gaijin are not very satisfied with this. Therefore, a new anti-aircraft weapon with a 90-degree upward-angle radar has been added to the Russian Tech Tree.

I donβt even spawn air vs russia anymore. Wounder who still does. Even current ru systems have almost no radar dead zone.
BUKs are not so effective when it comes to targets that attempt to break through at low altitudes.The Pantsir-S1 has a more rapid scanning speed compared to BUKsβ radars, which is particularly advantageous for dealing with low-altitude targets. However, both of these lack the scanning range for the airspace above an angle of 80 degrees.

Iβd just stay +15km away with high speed and spam GBU-39 at their spawn, Russia going to control the skies with BUK, Pantsir, Mini Pantsir.

New pantsir missiles are literally designed to shoot down munitions and they will carry dozens. That paired with an AESA radar means even gbu spam wont work
