Would be hard for it not to. After all, it’s supposedly 50% better than its predecessors.
“Nerfing” it in this regard would be to not give it its GPS guidance + two-way datalink capability. Everything else about it would be AIM-120C-5-like.
2 AIM-9M on an airframe you’re already limited to 6 missiles is a waste. Might as well just carry only AMRAAM (they look better on it anyways + your games go a lot better than without).
Lastly, top-down attacks are equally as effective as AIM-9M from the same launch aspect.

Based on the current speculation, the new F-16 should be weaker than the F-15CGE. I wonder if it won’t be placed at 14.3?
they are definitely going to put it at minimum 14.3 and justify it with “it has 120D”
Unless 120d can perform similarly to fk90 at a long distance, I won’t make such a guess.

Enough with the stupid spaa for russia theres 2 countries that are in dire need of spaa and i can tell you its not stupid russian tech tree that needs it. Yet the past 3 updates did not add anything to isreal or japan that can take out LRDICM helicopters. And don’t go “Oh but they added the Type 03 for Japan”. Yeah but its literally hot trash compared to anything else with its slow missles speed and its 300m climb before turning towards its target. And they type 81 is only good for taking out jets cause it ARH missiles suck. But no lets continue feeding the russian tech tree with more cancerous bs thats not needed. Japan and Isreal need SACLOS Spaa. Isreal, Germany, Italy, and Sweden need updated helicopter tech tree. Japan also needs a decent light tank that can compete with other top tier light tanks.

Plane gets new missiles
New missiles are better than the AIM-120C-5, which if the current 13.7 F-16C had gotten the AIM-120C-5 it would’ve moved up to 14.0 anyway. These being a step higher than the C-5 moves it to 14.3 minimum
You: shocked your very good plane with very good missiles (allegedly) and very good radar is closer to missile trucks.
Please, don’t fly straight at people with more missiles than you. It’s almost the same mistake as flying close to a Rafale
Why would it? Nothing it has warrants such a giant leap in performance difference. At best, it performs like a better C-5 down range. Nothing should change acceleration wise

Nothing in-game will ever mirror or surpass the Fakour-90’s kinematic performance. Not until things like AIM-174B or R-37 or Meteor. AMRAAM doesn’t get close to such a discussion until the very specific AIM-120D-3.
only sweden need a new heli imo, even if the others dont have lrdicm and all spikes are better than nothing (dont get me wrong, the others need new heli too, but sweden first)

Well, don’t think Sweden really has any options even if you include Finland, Norway and Denmark, none of them really saw much value in attack helis

thats the problem, only thing that come to mind is that sweden can get a black hawk with jagm, but i dont think they use the black hawk as an attack heli
