USS North Carolina: The Showboat

I wish naval was more fun to get into 😞😞😞 these ships are all so gorgeous, but the gameplay loop is too boring, the aiming sucks, and the grind is unjustifiably long.

Can we recieve that late camo for the OS2Us?

Pleaseeeee

As if the Iowa and CFA spam is not enough, there’s this monster for us to deal with in naval. I can’t even properly use AP bombs on those heavies when CFA just swats me out of the sky with that missile.

Aiming is working perfectly for me, you just need to take the time to set it up. So far it feels polished, I’m satisfied with the aiming system, especially in realistic. Perhaps you can try searching for aiming tutorials, do some research of your own, and experiment with manual range adjustments. It’s not just point and shoot, you know, it’s certainly not World of Warships even AB Naval here have factors that can affect aiming, things such as direction of travel.

Please try to explore and understand the system first before making such complaints, you could potentially ruin the mode for others.

You can look at my badges and see how long I’ve played naval.
My problem with the aiming system is that the sights don’t adjust automatically when I have a target locked. I constantly have to manually adjust the range after the initial. And what really annoys me, and maybe a lot of others, is that when I account for ship movement and add that to my calculations after being told by the shell tracker on the top of the screen that I was “over .2 km” and subtract an additional .2km nothing changes and my shells land equally far away. Also if I don’t manually adjust the aim I have to keep looking further down till the only thing I am looking at is water. Just auto adjust the dam sight.
Also when large ships are within a couple km of other enemy ships it’s nearly impossible to aim as the reticle erratically moves its self from on the ship to somewhere beyond, which causes the guns to then move.

I’m not debating and comparing playtime hours here, but methods and techniques…

The “shell tracker” is not a crystal ball… It’s not an oracle where you have remote viewing capabilities, IT’S AN APPROXIMATION… I never rely on it for range adjustments, but rather velocity, direction of travel, and range - all of these factors to account for an idea of what the ballistic co-efficiency patterns of my projectile will be like. And once I get hits, I’ll just adjust my firing angle so the shell will land roughly around the projected trajectory.

No, there’s no such thing as a sure-fire accuracy on every single volley. World of Warships may lead you to believe in such things, but this is rarely the case in real life.

I wish you would stop being so arrogant so people would actly feel inclined to help, just calibrate and set up your settings and controls already. You clearly haven’t figured out how manual range control works. People don’t pan their aiming telescope further up, left/right, or downwards to adjust for range and motion of travel. There’s a binding for distance correction, please figure that out first.

Otherwise, feel free to keep crying but don’t blame the aiming mechanics when you haven’t bothered to actly study how aiming works. It’s silly…

Amateur mistake, main batteries have dead ranges and blindspots esp at very close range, switch to auxiliary or smaller calibres.

This is what I mean. I have it set up like I said

I just want the aiming point to automatically increase or decrease as the locked target moves closer or further once I have a set delta between target and reticle.

What dude?

Are you on something? So I want a dead game mode to have more people and I post the things that just make it less enjoyable for me personally in hopes that it can be noted and maybe addressed, and you go off? Maybe you are using a translator, and it’s mis translating what you intend to come across as, but seriously dude, the way you are coming across is the same as someone with BPD.
