USS Iowa: The Battleship of Presidents

Than a ship that never was made you mean? Because of resources. Which obviously would have limited its armor belt. Lmao.

Correct. So what’s its BR!?

This and the Yamato is going to easily top any BB below it. Glad the Bismarck is gling to be DOA…

I sincerely urge you to consider adding the Curtiss SC-1 Seahawk as a researchable tech tree aircraft. Compared to the OS2U-1/-3, the SC-1 is a far more capable seaplane, so it deserves its place in the TT.

Beautiful.
Glad to see this addition.

Bismark is a lower BR. It will see less Iowas.

I will be excited to grind out the Iowa when Naval Arcade aiming is reverted/fixed. I have 0 desire or intention of playing Naval again until these horrible changes are undone.

It’s .3 br lower. My guy, it will only see top tier ships. Just like 6.3 ships right now mostly see top tier ships. Let’s not kid ourselves. All these battleships will be playing on the same map.

I love how br is so compressed that a .3 difference basically just exists to look good

Same. All these new ships are so damn exciting, but alas, with the state of NAB I have literally no reason to play until the change to NAB aiming is reverted.

Noice! Any chance to get wallpapers of the Curtiss SC Seahawk? (Of course even better would be to get it in the tech tree 😉)

yamato is only OP if modeled improperly cause her armor is very Brittle IRL

Spoiler

!it had similar effectiveness to WW1 dreadnought armor below WW2 standard
(IJN shinano armor plate from turret shot by 16 inch gun )

what if they made the AA crew historically accurate

They’d could give the 5 inch guns part of the AA armament with their VT shells

If GJ doesn’t rethink having these new top tier BBs behind the full grind of the entire preceding rank as it’s laid out now, very few players will ever be playing them - not to mention that queuing with an 8.7 will take an eternity.

GJ should want to make it easier to get these vehicles into the hands of naval players if they ever want a successful game mode, not so insanely laborious and time consuming that even most present top tier players won’t be playing these new ones for quite a long time.

Yes, gaijin should lower the experience requirements for VI class ships. In the development server, players need to purchase six VI class ships to unlock the VII class Iowa. Each VI class ship requires an RP of over 350000, and even if you only develop from VI class to Iowa, you will need at least 2300000 RP. The scariest thing is that the naval battle mode takes an average of about 20 minutes per game

Excuse me, ahem, rank VII ?

Awesome meme but I think “Gaijin” should look more like Shrek. Expressionless|20pxx20px

Better make that up to 30 minutes per game when you factor in 10 minutes in the queue waiting for enough players to start a game.
