I think we need to quit trying to push amraams or other highly competitive active radar missiles on competitive airframes lower and lower.

Talking about Italy, what are your’s ideas for such? As the MiG-29 Sniper was added as Premium vehicle, which could fit easily as Squadron vehicle: it doesn’t have nothing in special besides the painting; in my opinion the Romanian IAR 99 could fit well as strike aircraft for battle rating 9.3 Italy, which I believe is lacking, although the ground line-up is awesome.
For ground I see a lot of opportunities although it would sounds biased on my part regarding this aspect, I’m mainly a ground player, I would be choosing the best I could if I had the power to do so, in air I really don’t have any knowledge, despite Romania having F-16s, I believe they should not be turned into a ‘Flying Leopard 2’ being stuffed everywhere, despite, I fully support an F-16 for USA as Squadron vehicle.
As much as I love those airplanes with such complex weapons, I don’t see reason why people should have the ability to jump right into the top level game and at the same time bring absolute nothing in benefit; while we do have Premium airplanes with such weapons, they at least bring somewhat a profit to the player, as for the team is another whole story, that’s why I mentioned “earlier air-to-air combat weapons”, a Squadron vehicle, when played somewhat bad or even worse, nor the player or the team gains with it.

Im not super well versed in Italys aircraft, but im sure there must be an option somewhere. Yeah an IAR-99 could be good

That’s a very fair point against it’s addition too, but only if steps are taken for the supersonic 13.0 fox 3 slingers to go up
They’d somehow still have a bad win rate even if the F-15E was 11.0
Most 13.0s, even ones that use only fox1s, are pretty well balanced into each other usually. The 13.0 bracket if you only look at 13.0 is very well balanced. The problem is compression both upwards and downwards.

I can’t see why you need another vehicle in the premium sections.
If we only consider ‘non-tech-tree-vehicles’ sections, the American tech-tree is one of the most biased and well-treated tech trees in the whole air branch.
There are many nations which can’t have any of the squadron vehicles, either the air branch or the whole tech-tree.
USA don’t need another one SOON unless others also get the spotlight.

After living though the hell that was <lvl 10’s flooding into top tier with the Leopard PL and M1 AIM and ruining games because they have 0 idea how to play, No, Please no, A squadron jet at top tier will just cause even worse teams than what the high tier premiums already cause.
Not against squadron vehicles, Just please no more at top tier.

Usa has:
YAH-64, F-117, A-4E, M1A1 AIM, M901
Germany has:
Leo2A4PL, Hunter, Me-262, Karl Marx
Russia has:
Su-33, Su-22, T-80UK, BMP-2, 2S19M2, and that one boat
Almost every other nation has 3 or less
There are only two top tier jet SVs, the Pakistani JF-17 Thunder and the Russian Su-33 Flanker-E(?). America does not need another squadron vehicle imho
We could give some to Israel, or Italy, or France
Literally, anybody but the big 3 please (I wouldnt mind Germany getting another, but Russia and USA do not need more)
America already has the F/A-18C for a prem, and sure it isnt free, but its also top rank and doesn’t have penalties
The most likely next squadron vehicles for US are:
F-35B if not added after the AV-8B
YF-23 if not TT
F-14D cause its highly unlikely they add a 4th Tomcat
F-21 but idk abt that one cause its an export plen and idk if its even complete
Maybe an FA-50 seeing as America has some
F-16D blk40 1992 spec, or F-15K (in the far future)
