not really, there’s not much reason for the étendard to be 9.0
Vehicle: Pvkv IV
BR Change: 3.0 → 2.3 (GRB)
Reason: Mediocre mobility, mediocre gun, pathetic armor, horrible turret traverse speed. This tank will struggle regardless of what BR it is at, but at 2.3 it will at least not constantly struggle to penetrate enemy vehicles and can play a proper sniper role.
Vehicles like the M3 GMC and SU-76D exist at BR 2.3 or lower with even stronger guns than the Pvkv IV, so the Pvkv IV should be fine there too. Its paper-thin armor, small crew size, and horribly slow turret means that it’s an easy kill for any tank at all that gets its hands on it.

Its peers are also 9.0 or should be 9.0 in the case of various F86 and MiGs. It IS better than most if not all 8.7s that are not undertiered such as said F86 or MiG types
Suggestion - if you dont want to move Puma to Rank III, give all the command vehicles ability to spot and call arty.
This will not break the balance and will add an additional flavour to them.
Both could easily go down by 0.3, 90/53 M41M is basically a worse M10. Sure the penetration is similar and the M41M has far more explosive mass, but the M10 has armour/turret/.50/etc. 8 shots is pretty crippling as well.

Absolutely not it’s fine at 3.0 besides do you know how many people are gonna complain about it having some useless APDS round that shell shatters on a BT 102% of the time? I don’t need another vehicle that people will call OP without ever playing it going down to a reasonable BR.
Seriously though it’s gonna get clubbed anyways with its mobility and turret traverse
the étendard is worse than its 9.0 peers (except the demon which is just trash no matter where you put it), worse than a bunch of 8.7s, and debatably worse than some 8.3s

Vehicle: AMX-50 (TO90/930)
BR Change: 8.0 → 7.7
Reason: This is just a slower and larger Char 25t without scouting but still at the same BR. While the frontal hull can still bounce cannon fire, the turret is the same as the Char 25t’s, so you can never truly rely on your armor ever. Dropping this to 7.7 would give you a reason to pick it over the Char 25t and it would fit in nicely with the existing 7.7 France lineup. Alternatively, it’s a Lorraine 40t at a higher BR with some useless hull armor and a APHE shell with anemic penetration and less depression. It’s a Lorraine sidegrade, not an upgrade.

And what do you think its peers are? Because as I said, this entire BR range is messed up by gaijin’s downtiering of the MiGs and F86 types.

I quite like the 90/53 it’s no event Breda 90/53 and ammo was a problem before the boxes. Guns quite nice too. I wouldn’t mind maybe a .6 second reload buff though for it’s meh mobility.
As for the PVKV idk it could realistically go to 4.0 the APDS shell shatters most of the time, you have a weaker engine than your 4.0 counterpart while weighing even more.

I do think it’s a tad better than the Jagdpanzer 38(t)/Jagdpanzer IV both of which are 4.3. I can only imagine it’s 5.0 currently because of the APDS.
Legacy BR when APDS wasn’t constantly shell shattering. I think most animosity towards swedens lower tiers still remains from back when it would rarely shell shatter, now a days if I see APDS I won’t touch it unless I’m in high tier. Shell shattering on thin armor makes me wanna die. Also the PVKV is so dang slow and massive with no armor. Idk how it’s managed to stay 5.0 wait, it’s cause nobody plays it yeah that’s about right for Sweden.
F-86F-40 about as fast, more agile
CL-13B about as fast, more agile
IAR-93 craps all over the étendard in energy fighting
F-86K can dance with the étendard for as long as it wants
Alphajets, more agile
MiG-17, nearly as fast and more agile in most scenarios

Su-7, blows the étendard way out of the water. étendard can dodge, but eventually the Su-7 will win.
Swift F.7, about as fast and slightly more agile in most scenarios
Supermystere, flightmodel is essentially a copy paste with some of the speed traded in for better instantaneous turnrate which already gives it an edge in ending fights faster
F-86F-30s beat the étendard in any form of sustained fight
MiG-15s beat the étendard in any form of sustained fight, probably being fully capable of ending the fight on turn 1 before it progresses
Swift F.1, not as fast as the étendard but will outmaneuver it
do you want me to go on? the étendard’s only option is to run away most of the time and it can barely do that. there’s a reason the Hunter F.1 was moved from 9.0 to 8.7, it has the same issue as the étendard.
don’t even get me started on the étendard’s ability to sustain itself in uptiers compared to its peers of equal or even lower BR.
the Étendard is a good aircraft, but not cracked up enough to be 9.0.
8.7 is a fine battlerating for it, nothing will suffer fighting it
