this is warthunder, 90% of the time the enemy is genuinely straight up blind.
the average WT player isn’t smart or good either, i don’t have enough fingers to count the amount of times i’ve beaten eurofighters in a dogfight with the Kfir C.10 or the M2K5F back when the BR roof was 14.0 when they should’ve walked all over me
basic R-77 lack any real range and only really shine below 8km and in offbore, and even 8km is stretching it with that drag
i’ve nailed rear aspect 18km shots on escaping targets when flying out my 29N, i don’t think it’s that terrible

Reasoning: It’s simply the best Sherman, as it has its MG port weakspot covered up.
The Cromwell V shouldn’t be at the same BR, having a worst shell, less armor, and no vertical stabilizer.
It feels very strange to leave it alone at 3.7 when the Chaffee, Pz.IV, and even the SAV201248 are moving up to 4.0, where they rightfully belong. And where the Sherman III/IV especially should be too.
It really should not be facing 2.7’s.

Which is fine, given range largely doesn’t mean much and slower platforms like the F18S aren’t really firing Bs from that much further away. But AMRAAM Vs R-77 sub 10km is significantly in favour of the R-77 if you don’t fire them in HOBS
For the 13.0-14.0 meta before AESA and extreme gimbal radars come into play, R77 is significantly better than AIM120, and if you need to fight at range using the R27ER with relocks/TRK MEM is superior to the 120A/C5 anyway

Its not stupid when anything 14.0 is almost exclusively pulled into 14.7
why did they revert the Mk.24 BR change and still didn’t add the Yak-3U and P-51H on there for uptiers? do they not know how oppressive those 3 planes are?
