Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
Since the Silca has radar, does this mean that even more munitions are getting shot down?Who was asking for this? What positive gameplay change could this possibly bring?
So people complain about the SPAA being broken and way too strong so instead you add more SPAA, infact you add an SPAA that has a 3km death zone and able to intercept quite literally every munition you throw at it.
I think I get it. They must have done this because of REDFOR’s win rate which is abysmal.
The reason this happens is due to three factors: (i) REDFOR players only concern themselves with chasing Air Kills. You will often see a crazy difference in groundpounding between teams. (ii) Roland’s munition interception is cracked compared to Osa’s and (iii) REDFOR players can’t effectively nuke airfields, both because again, they only concern themselves with chasing Air Kills and because the Su-24 is an inferior nuke carrier.
The fix? Nerf Roland’s munition interception (or buff Osa’s) or switch the REDFOR nuke carrier to the Mig-23. Saturating the battlefield with AA even more will only make for an unenjoyable experience.
Maybe its because one side has literal stealth munitions with a single plane being capable of wiping out all long ranged SAM sites in one sortie? not even mentioning 16 players all utilizing such weapons/planes
As someone that has actually played both sides, its alot easier playing blue, in both the weapons and airframe advantage than it is red side because your munitions have a 90% hit rate
This is about adding close-range SPAA to the frontlines on top of present Osa-AKMs, not the AV-8B NA’s (a premium plane, by the way, so it’s not like every player has access to it) ability to toss JSOWs.
I know its about close range AA. i was arguing your point of reds abysmal winrate to the fact that blue has the advantage in the main purpose of the gamemode and alot more.
So implementing your *fix isnt going to improve much since they’ll still be outclassed in everything
i hope the AGM camera bug will be fixed soon aswell, ALOT of players (and not just me) are experiencing that when entering the AGM camera of both Warsaw pact and NATO nations, the camera starts WAY to the side.
