it just got moved up.
And it shouldn’t have
maybe, or maybe they gonna give it its irccm missile found in the files
The IRIAF is a unique case in this regard, thanks to the Fakours.
In the case of the F-15C GE you have multiple planes to directly compare it to, namely the Rafales, the EF2Ks, the J-10C and the top tier Flankers.
The top tier Flankers perform miserably, as is to be expected, but the F-15C GE on average performs better than any of the 14.7s. The British EF2K beats it, but the other EF2Ks perform worse than it, so their average performance is worse than that of the F-15C GE.
The Rafale only appears to perform better because it gets a boatload of ground frags on average.
It is highly unusual for a US plane to have such high performance.
How do the Fakours change the fact that the F-14 IRIAF is a US plane, with a very high spawn count, beating British and French planes?
Once again, you are basing this off of stats, and now, how you think a US plane should perform
I don’t know how the Fakours could change anything.
Could it be that wallet warriors and other players that don’t pay attention constantly die to Fakours? Surely not.
When playing the GE, I find that players in lower BRs refuse to contest in altitude, or get distracted very easily. The skill gap is very large from 14.3-13.3
Unironically woulda been goated changes if the Tiger 2 buff was cancelled.

BVR is a pretty unpopular playstyle and if that skill gap was that influential, the non-AESA EF2Ks and other 14.3s should perform way better, shouldn’t they?
Being able to fight against wallet warrior Su-30s and other 13.3s isn’t the reason why the F-15C GEs performance is so much higher than that of its competition.
I was surprised to see THIS going up to 8.3… yeah it was kinda fun, but it’s closer to type 3 fun than anything
I’m not talking about BVR, if you mean mid-longe range.
I play for isolated kills in the EFT, the F15CGE’s playstyle is more support or artillery, so you can farm more with extra missiles, it’s easy to do, but notably easy to counter
Why do you only plan to increase the BR ceiling in the future and not now? We’ve got jets that spent most of the game’s lifetime at 8.7-9.0 now at 8.0-8.3 that’ve been creaming WW2 and early postwar jets. We’ve got jets with 4 R-60s at 9.3. We’ve got jets with fantasy flight models capable of pulling 14Gs easily at 9.3. Everyone was complaining about the state of BR compression five years ago back when things like the MiG-19 and MiG-21 were 9.7-10.0 and now they’re all 9.3, starfighters at 9.3, Lightning at 9.3 and so on? What are we doing?
I get that some high tier jets have increased in BR, but that’s only proportional to them gaining better weapons over time. For example the Phantom FG1 used to be mediocre at 10.7/11.0 because it had Aim 9Ds, Aim 7Es, a bad radar and worse flight performance than the F-4E. Then it got Aim 7E2s, Aim 9Gs and a pulse doppler radar and went up accordingly. The growing capability of weapon systems getting added to the game, and also added to existing vehicles, has compressed the heck out of 7.0-10.0.
You guys need to sit down with the community, and with the content creators who’ve been calling this out for lord knows how long, to figure this out. You just did one massive sweeping change of Ground RB aircraft BRs, you can do a big sweeping change for Air RB’s jet tiers and a corresponding increase in the BR ceiling by more than just 0.3BR. You’ve got the player count for it, the queue times are practically instant. You could even drop back to 12v12 matchmaking more often to supplement it. There is absolutely no reason not to do it other than fear of making bad changes which, surprise, are made every single BR change!
You can’t keep forcing jets down and zeroes up. At this rate we’re going to have A6Ms matchmaking against F-86s in a couple of years. Stop looking at statistics in a vacuum and engage with content creators and players who spend a significant amount of time playing the game.
Fair, I was expecting this to be about BVR, as your average joe still multipaths all day lol
Oh yeah, BMP1 wasn’t strong enough so it just receives a random buff to the already quite good missile.
TBF being at high altitude =/= BVR. You can do BVR at high alt but its mostly a position play since its both a better offensive and defensive position. Better offensive cuz you can sweep everyone below your own alt with radar + better missile range, better defensive bc way less people look up at you.
Yep completely wrong direction move for naval Air BRs, instead of allowing more fun planes in naval to 7.7 - 8.7 stripping naval Air in toptier.
That’s true, do people at actual top tier do that more often nowadays?
Whenever I pick up planes around 13.0 I only ever see a couple of people trying that and usually they fail miserably at it lol
As long as you can notch properly, climbing is always the better strat compared to multipathing which at 60m is basically a coin toss while also leaving you completely open to 9Ms or AAM-3s which excels at killing multipathers
both of these have tracerless airburst shells and completely dominated the BR
If I can not parallel park the Scimitar Mk.2 now its on you!
