Update 2.49.0.54

Please elaborate

Already great vehicles at their BR shouldn’t receive buffs without BR increase as that’s how you make compression even worse. Someone that’s so “balance oriented” not understanding such a simple concept is beyond belief.

Keep it up boys! I double check every time you post the bug report links to make sure I clicked on EVERY one! 🫡

Balance should apply to 2 factors:
A. The physical performance of a vehicle
B. The statistical performance of a vehicle

And while I’m a component for decompression and more BR dispersion, I am of the strong belief that vehicle performance should be the key balancing factor. Statstics simply do not represent an accurate image of what any one vehicle performs like, they are good for generalised balancing and comparisons, but denying bug fixes to statistically average vehicles because they could potentially become a statistically good vehicle is hideous logic.

More & better Premium/BP/Event Vehicles. Statistically Americans are more likely to spend money on that. I don’t think I’m off base here. I’m not trying to offend anyone.

I will admit I have spent a lot on the game as it is my only form of entertainment.

Oh no worries, I just think it’s a very broad statement.

I’ll agree on the amount of event vehicles and premiums, but whether this is Gaijin favoring, burdening, or milking the US is up for debate.

However, I know for a fact that the US is not favored when it comes to bug reports. There may be a level of attention/interest (lobbying power if you will) that’s higher than some minor nations have, but this is mostly by virtue of being one of the “big three” (US, USSR, GER). So not a US specific benefit.

And even then it’s not guaranteed to work. The Stinger debacle comes to mind.

No I don’t think bug reports are favored. That’s why everyone should band together! 😄

I just wish Israel got better event/BP vehicles.

We got…

A copy paste Meteor with a different cosmetic skin.

A Kfir that wasn’t needed, & is the lesser export version and is no fun at it’s current BR with it’s current loadout

A unique Sholef which sounds good on paper until you play it and realize it is still a broken buggy mess.

It just makes me a little sad.

Tbf thats pretty par for the course when it comes to event vehicles for some nations so this isn’t exclusive to Isreal imo.

Stats are pretty much the best thing we can balance things around.
I invite you to try and make a system, or at least a sketch, that will (objectively of course) balance vehicles based on performance metrics such as mobility, firepower, armor, etc.

Those two are far from only statistically average vehicles.
Buffing already strong vehicles that are pretty much top performers at their BR makes no sense without them going up in BR.

Things like…

The WZ-141-1

The M551(76)

The Iranian F-14

The Kungstiger

The Obj. 292

The SPz-12-3 LGS

The AGS

The Canadian Leo I

Even the current US event vehicle seems silly and fun!

It just makes me a little envious to be honest.

What I really want is a Major Update that is 99.9% bug fixes for everyone! I would be ok with no new toys for a while.

Kungstiger what a worthless addition when the KV-1B would’ve made more sense or idk literally anything else but again it falls into the same filler of worthless slop that could’ve been something cool.

I mostly agree with you. However, it is a nice addition to my Swedish 6.7BR line up.

The priority list in question:

  1. Adding more premiums
  2. Buffing CAS
  3. Introducing more gamebreaking bugs

You forgot stirring up political controversy on a quarterly basis and making the game overly noob friendly

Is this purely visual or can the amphibious tanks actually swim again without if feeling like goin down rocky rapids?

I still have accepted reports that date back to the old forum (and redone on the new reporting site), anywhere from 8-10 years old now.

At this point I believe they probably just add the accepted tag to keep the illusion they care about bug reports. If a suggestion isn’t implemented within a few weeks it likely ended up in the trash.
