Shhhhh don’t tell them about that one
I 100% agree with compensation. It’s literally wasted premium time if you can’t even normally use it without problems.
It’s been almost a week, I really think you need to communicate with us a bit more than that. For those of us who want to play high-tier air, the game is basically unplayable, and my premium time and boosters are ticking away.
Having someone from the technical side write 3-4 sentences about what the problem is and why it’s taking time is a very fast way of calming people down. This kind of transparency and service-mindedness is what I would expect from any other service I am paying for if there was a weeklong outage.
A single line in some patch notes is not at all proportionate to the magnitude of this bug. Communicate with your customers.
In my opinion GJN don’t know how communication should work in general.
Small example:
There are news on the loading screen.
I never had, not a single time, news about updates/patches BEFORE the update or in realtime. They always appear way too late, most of the time a day later. So you load the game, the game loads some data, you have no clue what it’s about, you play the game wondering about weird things, and a day later you get the information.
The devs have indeed been working on this issue as soon as it was passed along. A fix has been tested internally today. We hope to have some more news in the very near future.
I use AP belts now just to be safe, and it does seem to give better results
Any update on fixing the vehicle stuttering at high speeds? Leaving spawn everything’s just darting around with 30ms and 0% PL.
Thank you for the reply. Please understand my concerns given other things that were passed to devs, but never had any updates for months or years.
Some people even began to wonder if it was an undocumented, intentional change.
It looks like the “jitter” and “stutters” on high speed missiles bug is back, seemingly fixed back when the LOSAT was introduced, I just noticed it today with the VT-1 missile…
Again as per the last major update…what is the point of the dev servers?
Do they not actually trial any of these items before the open it up to the community, and release the live version?
How is it that with each of these major updates, there are bugs that have to be patched to fix things that were not issues previously?
Well, funnily enough, all the bugs that are currently there (Missiles not working, rendering being weird) did not exist on the dev server at all. All of those bugs only appeared after they did last minute changes to certain things before the patch came out.
I guess that’s my point. They always state the dev server is never the final version, so then what is the point of having people use it to find issues.
He’s not talking about the Missiles when he says the Eurofighters radar is broken. It’s literally just legitimately terrible, no way it should be performing the way it is. The missiles is a separate issue which just shows how much Gaijin actually tests and plays these updates
As per my above post, anything moving fast is jittering for me, including vehicles.
And Denmark and I think the Rocky Canyon as well.
Exactly!
These are 3 examples out of a BIG list of bugs, known for so long, no focus on, no communication about it, bug reports were ignored or closed. That is spitting on every single player take his time and effort to report and proof it.
Bug report site? I’m done with it. I have open reports 2 years ago, bugs still exist.
I bet nobody complains about that there would be no major updates for longer, if gjn would be fix bugs in this time.
I never did say he was talking about missiles. I’m quite sure Eurofighter uses A-A missiles though, as does about every plane above BR 9.3 in some capacity. Therefore not only issues with its radar, now Eurofighter has issues with its missiles also on top of every previous issue.
British cannons thats your issue :P
These bugs are caused by moving the patch from dev to live server.
