I want to play sim. My controls are setup for sim. I gave up on tanks because CAS is oppressive and ruins any way to enjoy it.

In fact, I bought my 2 premium aircraft specifically to use them in sim due to historical relevance and suitability of visual IFF.

what really needs to be worked on is the tan sam from japan i wont even touch it rn because all it does is shoot into the ground its useless if u just want to use command station.

Will we be getting premium time/refund for the mess that´s been happening in air RB? Borderline unplayable with the bug and poor servers every couple matches…

Sorry, but I’m missing the part where that’s our problem. Are we free to play the game mode we prefer, or should we be forced to play something we don’t like, just to have the chance to let you notice the issues we’re having in the game?
Maybe it’s just my thought, but it’s my opinion that you guys are heavily underestimating what’s going on around here.

I get that it’s a major issue rn, but they literally said last bugfix that they were working on thr missile bug, and they already tried fixing it and it only worked to an extent

I have seen the bug happen twice so far, both in the same match in the A-10. First my 9L did no damage to a MiG-21, then an RB24J did no damage to me. Sure, it’s annoying when you have that perfect shot for a missile, but at the same time, it only really happens once every few matches (from my experience)

Also to note, the level of impatience that this community has to get to the level of actively trashing on developers who don’t owe them anything, it’s kinda sad tbh

*I haven’t much (if any) on the forums, I just know some people who think like that and I’ve seen a good bit on tiktok and whatnot. I’m not saying it’s the entire community

All I am expecting is transparency like JageX shows transparency.

I want public acknowledgement of the spotting/rendering issue in sim in a official post by the dev team and an declaration that they are working on it to assure us that it is NOT going to be treated like 90% of other sim/VR bugs which are “accepted” and “passed” to developers and then nothing happens after many, many, many months down the like (such as Ruhr airfields for prop BRs).

JageX has far fewer employees than Gaijin yet they can spare the effort to be open and engage with the community with mutual respect, communicating changes and efforts taken transparently.

I do not believe I am being unreasonable requesting official, public and highly searchable/citable assurances for a game-breaking bug that outright makes a game mode impossible to enjoy, especially in light of past issues being swept off to the sideline.

Oh yeah, wanting transparency is a good thing and I wish Gaijin would be more transparent

I mean like people who are going out of their way to insult or target the developers for taking too long on a bugfix, like “Gaijin needs to fire all their devs and hire a new team cause the missiles aren’t fixed yet!”, those kinds of people

I personally wish we had more transparency around the documents used when aircraft / weaponry are added in updates

I feel like the sim bugs are being glossed over heavily because of having a smaller portion of the playerbase, which sucks, but they’ll have to care eventually

I also wonder if Sim has a smaller dedicated dev team as opposed to other modes, likely making them work much slower

I 100% agree with compensation. It’s literally wasted premium time if you can’t even normally use it without problems.

It’s been almost a week, I really think you need to communicate with us a bit more than that. For those of us who want to play high-tier air, the game is basically unplayable, and my premium time and boosters are ticking away.

Having someone from the technical side write 3-4 sentences about what the problem is and why it’s taking time is a very fast way of calming people down. This kind of transparency and service-mindedness is what I would expect from any other service I am paying for if there was a weeklong outage.

A single line in some patch notes is not at all proportionate to the magnitude of this bug. Communicate with your customers.

In my opinion GJN don’t know how communication should work in general.

Small example:
There are news on the loading screen.
I never had, not a single time, news about updates/patches BEFORE the update or in realtime. They always appear way too late, most of the time a day later. So you load the game, the game loads some data, you have no clue what it’s about, you play the game wondering about weird things, and a day later you get the information.

The devs have indeed been working on this issue as soon as it was passed along. A fix has been tested internally today. We hope to have some more news in the very near future.

I use AP belts now just to be safe, and it does seem to give better results

Any update on fixing the vehicle stuttering at high speeds? Leaving spawn everything’s just darting around with 30ms and 0% PL.

Thank you for the reply. Please understand my concerns given other things that were passed to devs, but never had any updates for months or years.

Some people even began to wonder if it was an undocumented, intentional change.
