Not only are missile still not doing damage, even with a direct hit, but guns are not even registering hits now!

this is 50mm HEF-I, any single hit should disintegrate ANYTHING that flies,

4 hits to kill a Tu-2, and 2 to not even crit an La-9

Update 2.47.0.27 is out

But nothing has changed. The rockets still miss just as much, TWS is still just as bad, and aircraft guns still don’t deal enough damage.

Buff CS/SA5, or lower its br to 11.3

Weapons still not shown in hangar

You know what I absolutely love about all this?

The lack of any communication, acknowledgement, community interaction.

When OSRS had bugs nowhere near this one’s caliber, we’ve had their public-facing staff respectfully engage with the community and tell us what happened and reassure us that they’re doing their best.

This alone made it far less of an issue to deal with than how Gaijin is approaching this issue.

In fact,

Gaijin released a highly anticipated update with gamebreaking bugs.

Guess what happened?

British Company btw.

Any chance we can get something like this for Warthunder with the same level of transparency and mutual respect and cooperation?

Real. Lack of transparency with the shear amount of bugs and lack of a hotfix for it. God I love when were left in the dark, and lied to about a fix when in reality it just broke it more.

Truly the dev team of all time…

Error 405 as well…

Update 2.47.0.28. No change log yet

If anything, this shows you that Gaijin is not a serious company, not even on the level of indie devs.

If you consider how the community behaves anytime anything changes (good or bad) and we always complain, I wouldn’t bother with excessive transparency either. I am very much fine with the level of info we are getting, not like we could do anything with the info.
And additionally, missile behavior is better than when the update dropped, so things are actually getting done and the work week just started. I doubt an indie dev could create bug fixes for a big and complicated code base where code was potentially written by a guy that left ages ago in just a few hours.

OSRS community also is very loud and outspoken. Riots, unsubscription are part and parcel.

That is exactly why Jagex involves the community as it does.

The game is built upon the players driving development and that is why it is amongst the most successful MMORPGs.

I don’t know how the community of OSRS is, but I doubt it is as bad as here.
The amount of times people complained about nonsensical stuff is insane.
If the update doesn’t come out when people expect it to, people start wanting to review bomb it already. And if the update does release with issues, everyone still wants to review bomb.
The only change I would expect to see if there was more community interaction, was just more complaining about the details.
Don’t get me wrong, I would prefer more transparency, but i can see why it seems just a waste of time from the POV of the CM Team.

OSRS community rioted because there was an undocumented change removing a green pixel from an icon.

It is very, very important that everything is:

  1. Polled
  2. Documented.

The community will not have the game destroyed again like it was with “Evolution of Combat.”

As such, it went to polls:

(polls require a supermajority of 70% of votes to pass.)

Arrogance is the only thing Gaijin keeps now, I had this feeling since they hide issue managers’ name just because players doubted the rationality of certain managers’ deliberate bias. Once again Gaijin wants to walk all over us, ignoring players’ voice.

Darn. Well, Derby superiority was fun while it lasted I guess.

The issue isn’t their hotfixing capabilities, regardless how ineffective they were in this instance, considering now the guns are broken from the supposed missile “fix”. The issue is none of these bugs were present on the dev server. They do three weeks of open testing, on the top of their own internal testing, and for what exactly, so one of the main points of the patch, highly maneuverable missiles stop working completely?

Just because some parts of the community are whinny, you’re supposed take these things as is? Get real.

Fix the pantsir

I totally agree its okay to complain, it just went a bit in the direction of insulting so I wanted to start an actually productive argument instead of just having an echo chamber saying “gaijin bad”
