Meaning? What does it affect concretely?
At random, Battleye often detects Opentrack as cheat software and blocks its usage.
This leads to being unable to use Opentrack when the anticheat decides to block it; while restarting the game generally solves the issue, I still find deeply troubling that the anticheat is detecting a perfectly legitimate program as cheat software. I find such a false positive to be a red flag and it worries me that, apart from blocking it for ingame usage, it may eventually lead to worse consequences…

Oh, that error. I have this issue only when the game freeze error occures. If I run War Thunder after game freeze, the BattlEye blocks opentrack. But when I run War Thunder again the opentrack works fine.

Rare bug, but glad it’s gone. Any leads on tackling down the bug that causes the game to crash when alt-tabbing out sometimes? It has pestered us quite a long time and I remember that it was fixed at one point.

Been flying Ground Simulator for over a decade and now can’t play matches without a tank - unsatisfactory.
This is a ‘cash grab’ disguised as a fix, forcing players to grind both air and ground trees to play a nation.
Instead, the patch should have made players enter matches with at least 3 viable spawns so that teams aren’t abandoned by single spawn players.
For reference I’ve:
-Fully grinded USA and Israel air
-Mostly grinded German, UK, French, and Japan air
-Mostly grinded USA, German, and UK ground
-Somewhat grinded USSR and China for both air and ground.
This new mechanic bars me access from dozens of aircraft in Ground Sim until I grind equivalent tank BRs.
This wouldn’t be an issue if the Snail fixed VR for tanks as I fly in VR and become disoriented in the messed up view (slaved to the hull instead of the turret).
For those who think spawning without a tank hurts the team, I ask you to view my stat card and service record.

This is clearly not a fix. Ensuring players enter battles with 3 vehicles is a fix. Changing the VR model for tanks where the head is slaved to the turret vice the hull, is a fix.
This change has limited players to only participate in air game types and rendered them unable to play with unlocked aircraft until they grind away at the tank lines making me believe this is a cash grab “fix”.
My recommendation is to spend time fixing VR issues and updating Sim models. You have one of the best platforms for air, land, sea combat. Warfare uses all three areas at once and now you are catering to one specific style of play. The same thing seems to happen with every game on the market. Don’t lose sight of the big picture. Please reconsider Simulation battles and how aircraft can be employed without tying it to a whole other tech tree decades later.
Air sim exists, buddy. Come play it.
My guy have you actually tried it? I’m 99% sure it works the same as ground RB where you can bring a 1.0 tank and 11.0 plane, and get put in 11.0 matches
Yeah, requiring a tank slot is a bit of a clumsy way to “fix” this bug. Surely the developers can change the game logic to detect when you’re intending to play ground sim in some other way?
They did only change this up to 6_1. So maybe we can expect more refinements on this?
Otherwise, is it time for another bug report or should this be a suggestion since it’s a new “feature”?
Doesn’t seem like it. Poor guy is blocked from playing now.
Usually weekend euro evenings these days around 3.0-5.3 depending on what servers are available and which side has fewer players.

When you gonna fix your Naval servers, it’s been 2 month they lagging every second battle on top Tiers(where you selling your new shiny battleships), ships jumping back and forth, shells flying anywhere but where you aiming? Don’t tell you unaware of this.
Example of the match with lags. My thought it happening when there is a lot of effects of fire and fps drops lower 60 frames per sec(but probably not only cause of client problem, cause all players in match experienced it).
