Nothing has changed for me, and I use full screen. Am able to tab out and back without issues. But try changing your graphics mode to Fullscreen Window:
You can also try doing a file verify in the launcher/steam, never know when some random 0 got turned into a 1 lol.
Try deleting you cache folder then doing a file verify in the launcher/steam.
Also, if you have an Nvidia GPU, try rolling back your driver. Was an issue with one of the latest ones.

Done deleting, its now won’t load the tanks. its just the background, and I’m using AMD GPU. and stuck on the settings. it will not allow me to exit. This new update is full of _________.
Yes because there’s no humans behind it anymore, it’s an AI churning system like The Patriots from Metal Gear Solid. Surely a human didn’t load up the game and think an invisible BLACK hangar is a finished product
Ok, also try deleting the “compiledShaders” folder. It’s where camos etc are stored. It will redownload some files after clearing that folder, I would also do another file check after clearing that folder. (And/or doing a file verify AFTER deleting, reopening game, and closing. JUST to be more than sure you do the verify after the game has redownloaded some of the compliedShaders folder.)
Also, after clearing the compiledShaders folder and getting back in, you want to make sure the “Download additional content only in the hanger” is OFF/NO. Your camos will not load in a match, quite annoying. Finally, you can try turning OFF/NO the “Show decals on other player vehicles”. I don’t think that is your issue, but there was an issue with decals earlier this year.
If you are still having issues after doing all that, probably worth opening a ticket/submit a “report an issue” from the in game link, in the “?” menu, top right of main menu. Just in case it is an issue the devs need to look at, the sooner they get reports, the sooner it can be fixed. A lot of battle rewards don’t work too - not every time, it looks like a RNG event.
Gajin support reimbursed 3 times within a few weeks the not rewarded “Mission decider” reward - it happened later too, but i gave up. They forced me to create a bug report which is (ofc) open: Community Bug Reporting System
